We were helped in an efficient manner by Ms. Linda Beatty with getting my mothers rights to some property into her name. She made the process smooth and made sure we had all correct documentation to prove my mother is the new owner. Hopefully this review is seen by the right people!

I'm a young Hispanic woman with many tattoos and a northern accent. When it comes to the law I usually know better than to test my luck, especially in the south. But on the day I was passing through this county I decided to not pay attention and test my luck anyways.

When I initially could not make it to the hearing it was easy to get a hold of the court house and people I needed to notify to request a continuance.

I had a fair process. My ruling was fair. The judge was honest and seemed to have what was just in mind even with the officer and district attorney there pushing him to make an example of me.

The courthouse was cute and easy to find. The people working inside were very friendly and helpful. It was very small but I'm sure that's because it's in a small town.

All and all this was one of the best and most fair experiences I've had with the courts.

They need a court service department to help people (customers) to understand courts service such as which documents to file, how the proceedings are conducted & answer questions. Also, other agencies to help assist customers. They do provide some services during court but not before. They don't send out notices for certain matters. They say don't give out legal advice, not saying I asked. They volunteer saying that they don't give out legal advice but they do. I was standing at the counter & overheard a person conversation over the phone. They do it for who they want to do it for. That's how certain people file their case to get through. It shouldn't be no favoritism within a business, it's a job that services our community. In order to improve, they have to know it's a problem to make things convenient and easier.

Says they open at 8am. Nobody is answering the phones AND when it says leave a voicemail, it just hangs up. I'll just keep calling until someone answers. Last time I spoke with someone, they were rude, as I was just asking the status of my traffic case. Very unsatisfied with the employees here and that nobody seems to keep up with their phones or updating their hours on google.

I am originally from the State of Delaware & received a speeding ticket in South Hampton. I began calling 3 weeks after I received the violation because it was not yet on their website. I know I've called over 100 times in regards to this matter, only spoke with a human once & she told me to wait a little longer for it be online. Well, about a week ago I received a notice that my license are suspended! I've called everyday nonstop & have yet to speak to anyone! This is RIDICULOUS!

You simply cannot get a hold of a live person by calling their number. When you press the number indicated "for more information" on the robo-menu, all that happens is the phone supposedly at the other end will ring several times with no one picking up on the other end, then your call gets sent to a voicemail box then you get the classic "this voicemail box is full, your call is now ended". Typical "Macon County Line" court justice. Or should I say, JUST US.

I have been trying to pay a ticket or 3 weeks now, no one will ever answer the phone, their web sight is horrible and when you follow the automated directions on the phone the website doesn’t match with what they are saying. I live 2 hours from here but it looks like I’m going to have to drive there. This place desperately needs to be reported in some way.

This is a completely incompetent and malicious court. They are hustling people by being unresponsive and non-compliant, they don't have an email address and they don't answer phone calls. How can someone hold these people accountable?

This place is a joke. Nobody answers the phone after numerous calls. After 22 calls without an answer they finally picked up and I was told I should call back later and speak to a different person. Good luck having your call answered. Worst ever!!!

I think it is just insane to call any business (much less the clerk of court) and not get a answer or get a busy signal during business hours....hello people are trying to get in touch with you that's why you have a phone dang!!!!

I have been calling these people for days and I get no answer. Then the automated system says I can't pay over the phone so I try to pay on the website only to find out I can't do that either. So what now?

These people in Southampton lack the competence to run even a local government. The only solution is to promote them into the federal government where they can do some real damage.
