Umami Sushi & Izakaya

Happy Hour starts at 4p, and there is some great value to be found. All of the pics i shared are from the happy hour menu and it cost maybe $25 between. More than enough to feed two large adults. Friendly, attentive staff.

Loved this place! The best tasting and looking Volcano Roll I’ve ever tried with scallops and surimi on top. The staff was very nice and friendly.

One of the best sushi places in west Orange County! A great selection of sake and wine also, as well as craft beers.

Great customer service too! Takeout available.

Go here. Favorite sushi in central FL outside of Disney. Maybe better anyway thanks to great people with amazing background music. Quality fish, meticulous prep. Much respect to Itamae, thank you for sharing your craft!

The sushi here is my absolute favorite! It's incredibly fresh and creatively prepared. Despite being a small restaurant, they consistently deliver top-notch food quality and provide excellent service. We've become regulars because we enjoy it so much!

Delicious food! The Unagi Don is incredible and worth the price. The sauce isn't the overly sweet one you find at other places. Tried the fatty tuna sashimi and it was divine! A special treat for us indeed, can't wait to come back!

The absolute best food ever. Equivalent to climbing Mt. Everest and then getting oxygen with your last breath before you pass out. Tastes better than getting in a hot tub on a cold snowy night.

We only ate here once - ordered a handful of items and everything was surprisingly good, including the sushi roll, which was excellent. It was a pleasant surprise.

Our current favorite local sushi joint. Rarely crowded, but they do a lot of takeout/delivery business early on in the evening. Every roll tastes fresh. We've been here four times now and have enjoyed every item we've tried. Great happy hour if you can get in before 6pm. We love their pan fried gyoza, spicy edamame, and the spicy fried shrimp appetizers. We've had 6 different rolls and all were great. Friendly attentive service.

Nice little place & well made sushi!

We live 30 minutes away, but it is totally worth the drive. We have been twice now. This sushi is amazing. All the rolls are uniquely flavorful, fresh & delicious! I highly recommend the Tsunami roll & the Alaskan, those were our favorites. Super good!

My husband and I are in Winter Garden for his work at the hospital. We were craving sushi and I am always nervous to try new places. We ordered 4 rolls and tuna nigiri. Everything was so delicious and fresh! The staff were very friendly and made suggestions on a roll for us to try. The tuna is maybe the best I have had. We will definitely be back. Thank you for such a delicious meal.

This is a diamond in the rough. It’s my new go-to sushi place. Amazing food. Fresh. Amazing prices. Friendly service. Clean. There are only 7 tables and a sushi bar. When it’s full the 1 (sometimes 2) server gets overwhelmed so the service may be slightly slow at times. They have a great happy hour (menu items as well as drinks) everyday from 4-6. Give it a try- I’m very picky about my sushi. This place does it right!
