Chez Alcatraz

This a great little bar to belly up to and have some beverages. They do have a quick item menu as well. The staff there (Murph, Zach,Tatiana, and Ashleigh) are very friendly and know how to make a drink. The "Ocean Attack" drink has a gummy shark in it and the bartenders do a little show when they deliver it to you. Only seats somewhere around 4 at the bar but there are picnic benches all around the perimeter and it is really fun. I highly recommend this beverage stop.

Went here a few times this last week, Zack was an amazing bartender! Very friendly very informative and he made amazing drinks! My girlfriend is very picky about her margaritas and she loved his so much! Great dude will be back to see him!

The best bar in studios by far! So many other places in the park just serve beer or a very very limited cocktail selection. I love beer sometimes, but I was on the hunt for a cocktail when I came across Chez. I only ordered the lemon cranberry splash everytime, but it was delicious. The line always moved quickly and the bartenders where awesome! Will definitely be back next trip.

Got the escape and it tasted really good just how an LIT should be. Zack waited on me today and was amazing. Will return

I personally believe this is one of the best bars inside Universal Studios. Limited seating at the bar but there are plenty of tables around by the water. Pretty much a full bar with a good selection of beer and alcohol. If you really want something good they have their specialty drinks occluding the spectacular Shark Attack. This particular drink is like dinner and a show. Whenever you order the Shark Attack, the bartender has a little routine that they do. I will not spoil it here oh, give it a shot and you'll enjoy it. Be sure to whip your phone off so you can take a video!

Great service & delicious drinks!

Do I even need to write a review for this? The Ocean Attack is the most popular alcoholic beverage at Universal Studios. This drink consists of Don Q Coconut Rum, Blue Curacao, Sprite, Pineapple Juice, and a Dash of Grenadine. The presentation of this drink is definitely everyone's favorite part. A prop shark attacks the cool blue waters of your drink as a dash of Grenadine is poured in to signify the blood from a shark attack. It is a very nice homage to the beloved Jaws ride that is no longer part of Universal Orlando Resort. This drink isn't just presentation though. It is absolutely delicious. I don't drink often but when I do I want it to be a drink that is this sweet and delicious. The alcohol is not very noticeable on your palette but trust me it's there. The gummy shark in drink however, usually goes in the trash as it is a bit too hard for me too chew through.

Zach is one of the best, if not THE BEST bartenders on site. . Cannot recommend enough...kind you the Chet Alcatraz is a day drinking Bar only.... But we particularly enjoy the smoking area, and watching the people/families taking their pictures with Bruce...

Good drinks, great people and maybe..just maybe a show with your drink!

My family absolutely love this place and everyone there. Murph is absolutely the kindest and most amazing bartender ever. My children, Jake and Alice (and my husband and myself) think the world of him and the rest of the staff.

A must stop on every trip. The bartenders here are the best I've had at both parks!
