This Nature Preserve is such a beautiful and peaceful place... except when they have cross country races or scouting events.
We just Love the resident feral kitties.
"Millie" is the striped Momma kitty. And she has 3 Beautiful black kittens. They are all sweet fur~babies. Millie and Onyx, are fixed the other 2 kittens, Shinobi & The Black Pearl, are scheduled to be fixed this month (3/2024). These kitties are much Loved and protected by the staff and long time guests of the park, including myself.
* Please, do not expect them to come to strangers. After all, It takes time to build trust.
* Mrs. Clinton, whom donated the land to the county to be a Nature Preserve Loved Cats very much. I think that's why they are drawn to this Safe Haven. Plus, they have a job to do to keep vermin from infesting the Office house & barn.

Clinton Nature Preserve is one of favorite places to hike. It's a beautiful place and offers a variety of trail levels.if you hike past the cabin in the woods, you will discover an amazing pine forest.

My sons are in Cub Scouts, and we took a hike and participated in some activities that they needed to make rank. The restroom was clean, and the playground had tons of activities.

This is a great park with plenty of space to explore. There is several trails to walk. As well as a play ground for kids. There are seating areas as well as along the trails. If you go by the welcome center to the right is an area with a huge map, and small maps so you can see where you are going, because this park is very large.

This park is great for birthday parties and it has a playground for the kids. Now this park was my second de ja vu I had. I was led here for a second time because there was some fears I had to release. The first time I was here I got spooked. So this time I went to all three spots along the nature trails to release those fears. I went up into each place and let it go back to the universe. There is a old pavilion, a very old house along these trails. It is a shame that they been vandalized. History is a part of us not to destroy. You can run or ride bikes along these trails. I truly have a love for nature and realizing I have been to these parks on these previously truly means something to me. It is worth checking they also have a wooden house to swap books and they also have a donation box.

We drove from Dallas after a friend told us about the place. I'm in 💕💕. It's beautiful 🥰. So much to do. We did the long walk and everyone was friendly. It's well maintained, we will definitely be returning. I can wait until covid restrictions are over and the office is back open. I'd love to learn more about this location.

Clinton Nature Preserve is an under rated trail system that is just marvelous! If you're a mountain biker or hiker who enjoys technical raw natural features and singletrack then CNP has plenty to offer. Be sure to bring a map or download MTB Project or AllTrails app to your phone to help navigate as the trails are not well marked.

Please be sure to donate to @MTBAtlanta who are the fine folks who maintain these wonderful trails.

This park is a real hidden gem! It has a large playground with plenty for little ones to do, a jogging circle, exercise equipment, and lovely walking trails with varied scenery. There's a large granite deposit at one end of the park as well which has a lot of interesting plant life. Clinton is also pet friendly, even for horses, and it's not unusual to see a few riders on the trails (fair warning: if you see horses, watch for droppings!). Overall, I highly recommend this park!

Great place for mountain biking! Difficult to navigate the trails, even with a map, but If you go a couple of times, you'll learn the latout. Lots of roots and rocks, technical trails, and trees hugging the singletrack. Go slow and get the feel before trying to go for speed. There is a playground, walking track, and restrooms near the parking lots.

Some of the best MTB trails near Atlanta. Old Pool Rd is a blast. It's more of a rocky landslide than a road. The faster you hit it the easier it is.

Beautiful nature preservation park with pavilions, restrooms, a playground and guided tours of the still standing structures. Very peaceful and free.

This is a beautiful place to get lost in nature. Seriously. Make sure you pay attention out there and take a battery bank if you can. And water. I can't wait to go back and get lost there again. I am so ready for Spring.

Very nice place for families or large groups. Lots of activities to do; walking/running paths, biking trails, a large playground, picnic areas, a lake, open grass areas, and you can learn a little history. There are restrooms and plenty of parking.

Great trails! Love that it's a nice retreat but not too far from anything. The children's park is closed still from Covid 19 but it seems that the city has taken great precautions to keep this open! I bring my family here often and they always have a great time going! Also brought our future Marines out there and they had great time running the trails great PT!

The park section was closed due to construction I think, but the fields were open and we had a blast running our 1/10 scale R/C cars. This place is beautiful. A nice gravel track around the fields for walking and running. Even Jinks enjoyed chilling in the sun...not much of a R/C fan though. 🤣
