Nantucket Resort Collection

We just returned from a great stay with The Nantucket Resort Collection to celebrate our babymoon. We were initially booked at The Chapman House but we arrived a little early and they moved us to Regatta Inn due to construction. We loved our stay! We had booked for the February special - rose petals, chocolate, bottle of champagne, late checkout.. we did not get any of it but to be honest they upgraded us to a King Suite upon check in and that was way better! Im sure we could have asked about the special but we didn't feel like we needed to. There were fresh cookies baked two out of the three nights we were there. Breakfast was simple but really nice to not have to venture out in the cold. Kara was extremely helpful and kind! She gave us such good recommendations on what to do in the area and what would be open/closed during this winter season. The suite was nice and clean. We highly recommend it! We would love to return!

Absolutely loved our stay at the Regatta Inn! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast was delicious and throughout the day there were freshly baked cookies and snacks to grab. The rooms were clean, cozy and stocked with everything we needed! Walking distance to the main parts of town and there was a shuttle for the guests wanting to go further on the island. Would love to stay here again. We spent an Elin Hilderbrand Bucket List weekend in mid January. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everyone was very hospitable, Management welcomed us personally and remained present and attentive during our entire stay. The entire staff made our comfort their top priority. The food was also excellent. When the ferry canceled service on our established day of departure, we were welcomed back for an extra night and delicious lunch without charging us. I would definitely stay at this hotel on my next visit to Nantucket.

Over the last 13 years of living on Martha’s Vineyard, I’ve probably been to Nantucket a little over a dozen times, and every time it keeps getting better. This summer, I had the pleasure of staying at the Regatta Inn, part of the Nantucket Resort Collection.

Here’s why I loved staying at the Regatta Inn:

🛳 Complimentary golf cart pick up at the ferry, which was so nice because it was raining when I arrived and between my laptop and camera, I was already struggling;

🛌 Ultra-plush beds with the softest sheets and comforters, I slept so peacefully;

💨 An air-conditioning unit that I could control easily;

💻 Complimentary WiFi that actually was easy to log onto and was incredibly fast, because I had a bit of work to get done while there;

🚿 Malin+Goetz toiletries that felt like such a luxurious treat with sumptuous scents warm rum and fresh cilantro;

⛱ Beach amenities are worth mentioning even thought I didn’t use them: beach chairs, towels, totes - all at your disposal;

✨ Random amenities I also loved: a hairdryer that actually worked well on my curly hair; plugs on both sides of the bed; fresh flowers on the table; glass water bottles instead of plastic; endless snacks from morning to night in the common area, and overall the most helpful staff ever!

But the best amenity of the inn was their Director of Operations, Alicia ✨ she truly made my stay so welcoming, and I recommend this spot to everyone when they mention they are looking to head over to Nantucket!

We stayed I. The Chapman deluxe king room. Lots of room to move around. Great shower in the room. Hotel was quiet.
They have coffee, yogurt and muffins in the morning for their guests. Great location to and from the boat and from downtown.

It was so cozy and charming! Our room was in the Chapman house, encompassing a minimalist Scandinavian design! I loved their bathroom with two shower heads! We had a warm fire pit with s’mores greet us at the end of long days of excursions. Simone alluded us to the availability of warm cookies! Lastly, I was able to return my Rent the Runway dress at the reception. Hotel Manager, John took care of it for me, and spared me a cab ride on the other side of town! Location is ideal, so close to everything! Would stay there again!

The Veranda is perfectly located a short cobblestone walk from Nantucket's downtown, with easy access to the marina, and all the shops and restaurants, allowing us peace and quiet at night, and respite from the crowds. John, the manager, is fabulous. He knew all the best places to rent bikes, plan tours & cruises, get lunch and dinner, and shop, and helped us plan everything else. Support staff was also super helpful and also went above and beyond. The Veranda's rooms were cute, and had everything we needed. Facility was clean. Hotel provided beach towels and chairs easily carried to the lighthouse beach a short walk away. S'mores around the fire with other guests were sweet ending to cool evenings. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

The Veranda House is a beautiful place, very quiet and elegant in a convenient and gorgeous location, close to the wharf, to the beaches and to the nightlife. The staff is warmly welcoming and really enjoyed my stay. I particularly appreciated the delicious and complimentary breakfast and the cookies and wine offered in the afternoon. Everyone took great care of us and finding the room clean and tidy every night before going to bed was really a pleasure. Highly recommended.

ROOM:We stayed in room 211 of Veranda House which was very spacious (two people and a 23lb cockapoo), modern and clean. The room opened out onto the veranda with a shared balcony (which we never had to share) with views of the garden. There was also a side entrance beside our room meaning we could leave and enter without going past reception if required.

STAFF: The manager, John, was incredibly helpful in advance of booking and all of the staff were friendly upon arrival and throughout. There is a real family feel to the hotel.

LOCATION: Veranda house could not be better located, only a 2 minute walk to the heart of the action and key restaurants.

There is also a delicious light breakfast offering each morning with pastries.

Beautifully kept Inn with old charm and modern amenities where needed. Room was beautiful and comfortable. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable of Nantucket. They were helpful with any needs. Coffee is available all day. Snacks and cookies too. Complimentary wine is served from 4:-6:00pm. Breakfast is amazing, with the main course varying by day. We had waffles and quiche as our main courses. Check out is a breeze and you can get a coffee for the road.

Ok so we are currently here for our mini moon and I am honestly SO happy with our choice to stay here. From the moment we arrived, Joe made us feel so special and welcome 🥰. We hadn’t been to Nantucket before and due to COVID the restaurants are at limited capacity and it’s super hard to get in anywhere so Joe immediately started making us reservations so that we would be able to go out to dinner - he had the best recommendations!!! Since it’s our honeymoon, we upgraded to a King Suite which we would recommend if you need space (we heard from other guests some rooms are small). HOWEVER, even if your room is small all the rooms have just recently been updated and designed to perfection by a local Nantucket designer. The hotel has been there since 1830 so you have the charm of the old bnb feel with all the amenities of a modern and contemporary hotel (amazing)!! There is also a beautiful yard with Adirondack chairs, a gorgeous manicured garden (the gardener is so friendly as well :), and a large firepit that you can sit outside at night. To TOP IT OFF the coffee is amazing and because of COVID they are delivering cute breakfast baskets to your room (with good stuff - chia seed oatmeal, cherries, bagels with lox and it changes daily). We are SO happy with our choice to stay here and 1,000 times would recommend to anyone!!!! If you need anything just ask and the amazing staff will help you live your best life.

Quaint old house. Easy walking distance to downtown, museums and restaurants but not right in downtown. Room was small as you'd expect but bed was great. Breakfast was very good and convenient. Service was excellent. Carl the manager was wikipedia as to everything in Nantucket particularly the restaurants. When a huge Nor Easter blew up and closed down all exit from the island Carl helped us to get transport to the airport and be literally the last two people off the island. Although they have a no cancellation, no refund, policy, Carl realized these were unusual circumstances and sent us a check for our last night there which we could not use. When we come back we'll stay again for sure.

Thank you Simone, Alicia, John, Stella, Larry and the entire Nantucket Resort Collection Team for making our vacation so memorable. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. We extended our stay for another night, 2 nights at Veranda House and 1 night at Regatta Inn.

Simone at The Veranda House was the best!! The rooms are perfect for couples and verandas are great for complimentary breakfast every morning. S’mores by the campfire at night were the cherry on top of a great stay. Highly recommend!!

We loved every minute! Carl and the staff are so welcoming and accommodating. Great continental breakfast, amazing cranberry wine and yummy, warm chocolate chip cookies. Beautiful old charming hotel. Our room was lovely!

Absolutely love the great service. The rooms are perfect fun size quick entrance in and out and they have breakfast downstairs.

We stayed here for 3 nights in December 2020. The rooms were on the smaller side but very comfortable and had all the amenities. John was very nice and even let us stay an extra night at a discounted rate when all the ferries off the island got cancelled.

Property is the perfect location on a one way street. Not busy at all but a 3 minute walk to downtown where all the restaurants and shops are. We either walked, biked, Uber, or had someone call us a cab.

Staff was super helpful (Thank you Johnathan) and every square inch of the entire property was spotless. Also had a bike rack for anyone using bikes which was a nice touch. We had s’mores by the fire with everyone getting their own s’more kit. Literally perfect spot! Will 100% be going back.

The Veranda House is a place that I would most certainly re-visit. The rooms are fantastic, and the general environment just amazing. Carl, the manager here is so warm and welcoming and just caters beyond expectation. Although only here for a short 4 days, they couldn't have been a better 4 days.

As someone who travels to Nantucket over 30 nights a year for both business and leisure, I can honestly say that the Veranda House is my go to. Not only is the staff extremely friendly and accommodating. But the rooms at both Veranda and sister property Chapmen House (including the bathrooms) are always spotless while looking exactly like they are online. An easy 5 Stars.
