Meche's Donut King

Stopped in and we were greeted by the sweetest lady. Explained that we had never had a king cake before and that we were from Missouri. She went on to show me the different ones. And I picked the chocolate and Bavarian. She said that was a good choice her favorite too lol. If you are ever in Abbeville Louisiana stop in at Meches and pick you up some sweet delights.

Loved the hot glazed donuts. The beignets were a surprise because, compared to Cafe du Monde, they are huge and slightly more dense. On the other hand these did not have to be hot to be good.

Brought these delicious donuts all the way back to Pittsburg, Tx
