My partner and I come to French Memories almost every weekend. We have tried so many different pastries and have had so much fun getting to pick them out and box them up. My personal favorites from this bakery are the almond croissants, strawberry croissant with custard, chocolate eclairs (they also have vanilla and coffee), and a puff pastry with hazelnut filling (not sure what it’s called). It’s always extremely busy, but the staff handle it amazingly. The food is very well priced, fresh every time that we get it, and perfectly baked. Please go here if you want authentic French pastries!

Everything in the bakery cases looked so delicious I could hardly choose. I wanted to try one of everything! On top of the incredible selection of pastries, cookies, breads, cakes, and other goodies, the service was second to none. Cashiers were friendly and eager to talk to customers. And let me tell you, this place had plenty of customers when I was here but the wait was nonexistant. It didn't take long at all to get my order situated despite the afternoon rush at hand. It's easy to see why this bakery is so popular with the locals: there's nothing not to love. So, in conclusion, if you are looking for something closer to a European style cafe with a laid-back and friendly atmosphere, this is the place to go. If I lived within walking distance, I'd be here all the time, but sadly it will have to remain a once-in-a-while treat for me. If you live close by, don't hesitate to take advantage of that and try it out. You will definitely thank me (and yourself!)

French Memories bakery is my favorite place to get breakfast when I'm on the south shore. The almond croissants and cinnamon croissants are AMAZING, as is everything I've tried! for lunch the chicken salad sandwich on a fresh baguette is my favorite. Service is always friendly and it always feels so cozy inside. I always end up taking a box of pastries home with me whenever I go!

This is an amazing bakery owned and operated by multiple generations of a lovely family and their friends! The sandwiches and pastries are divine and I especially LOVE their chocolate eclairs. Cohasset is so lucky to have them!

The food is wonderful, especially soups, almond croissants and Napoleons. Pastries are all good though.

Pretty great neighborhood spot, run by a French family. Frequented by all the locals. Great way to get a feel of the pulse of cohasset. Some of the best stuff croissants I’ve ever had. One day I’ll get around to trying their bread products!

The pastry here can only be described as divine. Each quiche, macaroon and almomd croissant is an experience. Elevated classic sandwiches for lunch meetings. Cookies and treats for after school snacks for a trip with the kids. Lovely!

10/10. I am only here for the French items so I cannot refute what that other reviewer said about bad lasagna. However, what I have eaten has been fantastic. Jean-Jacques is an amazing baker with a cool handlebar mustache. The staff is friendly and helpful. I stop and get food here at every opportunity.

Walked in and it smelled like how I imagine Italy smells (the good parts). I instantly gravitated towards the croissants and didnt leave until I bought a chocolate one as well as a buffalo chicken sandwich with the bread as croissant. (Will update with pics and taste after I actually eat the food)

You have the option to eat in if you'd like and even on a Sunday early afternoon it was plenty of space for our party of 4

As a baker I can appreciate the quality of the goodies they have to offer. Having moved to Maine from Cohasset, I will certainly miss sitting out in the sunshine with the dogs, coffee and of course a little sweet treat of some sort.
If you more into the savory, they can certainly help you out there as well.

The Croissants here are amazing!! You must try their best seller the Almond filled croissant you will end up buying another one. Don't attempt buying just 1 and try to share it, it won't be enough.

I had an important BD event for my 5-yr old granddaughter. She has lived in Cohasset for one year, and me in Chicago; I really wanted to surprise her. She LOVES cake!
Samantha and Ann (the owner) talked to me on the phone, and were so eager to help me surprise my little darling; they offered to drop cupcakes off. THEY ABSOLUTELY MADE MY DAY!!
They will be one of my first stops when I visit next.
Thank you for being so thoughtful!
