Undoubtedly the best breakfast place if you are in a staycation at Nantasket beach resort!

The cashier brook is really kind and sweet. There is no option to pay tip via card so be generous to bring some cash. An old gentleman prepares the food and another lady garnish and serve it to customers.
I was surprised to find some tasty bakery item apart from usual lunch and brunch sandwich option.

I’m pretty sure this is probably one of the favorite breakfast place for the locals. You can see people living in beautiful houses in front of the sea.

We had avocado toast and Greek toast. They had special house blend coffee and I tried sweet pudding from the bakery section.

I found almost everyone from Nantasket resort had their breakfast at this place.

The food portion was more than enough and they had seating space tables and a couch. Please clean up after you are done. Don’t leave anything for these three hard working human.

Enjoy the food and vibe! Let those three people help you.

Cute little spot for breakfast or lunch, or just a coffee. I had the kouign amman one morning, and a BEC and a raspberry marscapone croissant another morning. The coffee was fantastic, the owner knows how to made a legit BEC and the baked goods were killer. My only complaint is they were closed on Monday and I had to have breakfast elsewhere.

I’m biased because I work here 😜 but the food is amazing and this place is a passion project. Every single thing down to the pesto is made by hand. Fantastic lunch sandwiches, flatbreads and salads. Top notch breakfast sandwiches served on a fresh homemade Brioche bun. Coffee with coffee ice cubes so it doesn’t get diluted. Owner is generous and in support of his employees & local community. Wherever we go, my husband and I enjoy finding interesting and quality places. We were lucky to find the Breadbasket Bakery on Nantasket Ave in Hull, MA. Bread had just come out of the oven and the smell was so warm and enticing. We ordered a raisin pumpernickel and rye bread. When talking to the friendly and experienced owner, Michael, we found out that he used a starter, that he has nourished and taken care of for many years, to make the bread. It showed in the flavor. The rye taste was genuine and unlike anything else we have been able to find recently. We also got a BLT which we enjoyed outside while viewing the ocean. Generous with smoked bacon on warm focaccia, this was a sandwich we will get again. Wanting to try everything, we also got a scone with a little crust - very tasty. We live 2 hours away but we will definitely come again and stock up on bread. What a find! Loved the store decor.

My favorite breakfast and lunch place. Everything’s delicious but I especially love the lamb sandwich. It’s like Christmas dinner in a sandwich, so much care and attention to detail. Bread is delicious, mayo tastes homemade and the lamb is so tender. The onion and pickles, really compliment the flavor. Lovely side salad and chips too. Always stop whenever I’m in Hull.

Such a cozy place with a great vibe and even better food. Was visiting over MDW and stopped in for breakfast. Tried the Mediterranean Toast and iced French vanilla coffee. Amazing!! So good that I decided to come back the next morning. Ordered the avocado toast this time and it was delicious too! I also must say, they use coffee to make their iced cubes for coffee. Perfection! I will be back next time I visit Hull for sure

This is such a cute little cafe. It’s so cozy. You can spot locals reading/hanging out there occasionally. They’re very warm towards the tourists. The bakery has myriad of pastry assortments. I got the house brewed coffee once and iced coffee mocha the other day. Avocado toast was also good.

I wish my city had a cozy cafe like this. Highly recommend!

Steak, egg & cheese with a hash brown - also enjoyed the iced coffee and citrus scone! Some of the best breakfast food I’ve had in a while, ABSOLUTELY worth the wait!

I was in the area covering a driving route, (originally from central Mass) and thought I’d try out one of the most highly rated cafes in the area. And I gotta say, it DEFINITELY didn’t disappoint!

First of all, the sign outside reading “The Breadbasket at Nantasket” is a masterful rhyme. I didn’t even know one could rhyme something with Nantasket, but these GENIUSES had done it! I walked in and dug the vibe of the place immediately; it’s small, charming and comfortable and played great music. The food menu was pretty extensive and everything sounded so good, but I just came for a coffee and a pastry that I could enjoy on the cold, windy, yet, sunny beach right across the street (it was the first day of winter after all 🤷🏻‍♂🥶)

The man behind the counter (Matt, ((which says a lot that I remembered his name because I NEVER remember names))) was chatting up one of the regulars as I waited in line. When it came my time to order Matt, greeted me and treated me as if I were an old friend; asking me what my name was, where I was from, what I did for work, joking around etc. He then gave his pastry recommendations as I seemed to be STUNNED by the selection of delectables, which wasn’t that large of a selection, but every single thing looked amazing 🤤.

He insisted I go with the banana bread muffin, but the chocolate bread pudding was just CALLING my name so I had to go with it, and I must say, I was glad I did! 😋 I also got a small hot French Vanilla coffee, which was average but very cheap. They also have just about every type of sweeting option you could think of at the milk station; from regular milk to almond milk and from sugar to stevia or Splenda or agave or whatever you little sweet (or not so sweet) tooth desired. I quite liked the brown sugar cubes that you could just drop in and stir, it make me feel like I took a time machine… who uses sugar cubes anymore? 🤔

Anyway, enough blabbering, here’s what you all came to see; the pictures! It was a frigid trip to the beach but I had the sun on my face and a hot coffee in hand (and a chocolate pastry in my mouth) so everything was alright. I do wish I could’ve tried the banana bread muffin that my new best friend Matt was raving about, but I can tell you this: I’ll DEFINITELY be back to try it! 😁🙏

Unbelievable!! I wanted to post a picture of my Cruffin but I couldn’t stop myself from eating it! It’s a croissant muffin with chocolate drizzle, powdered sugar, a raspberry and whipped chocolate cream. My husband had a delicious avocado toast with bacon best ever. And I also had the egg and cheese sandwich which was buttery, fluffy, crispy edges of cheese on a delightful round biscuit brioche yummy thing. The food is a work of art. Plus great music and views.

Wow! A small sort of hidden little bakery/sandwich spot right by Nantasket beach. This is a place you shouldn't miss. If you're in town, looking for lunch or breakfast this is without a doubt a spot you should hit up! Staff was friendly, food was fast and delicious. Everything was reasonably priced for the quality! Also, while eating you've got a great view of the ocean.

Stopped in here at random, and we were blown away by how good everything was! Best BLT I’ve ever had… (and the kouign aman was incredible too)

I was looking for a quick breakfast and ordered the sticky bun. The crunchy sweet outside with the soft pillowy center was amazing. I wanted to eat half. Couldn’t resist the whole thing. Then I was deciding on a sandwich for lunch. Zelda suggested the curry tuna. I would never ever have even looked at such a sandwich. Curry tuna. Yeah was I wrong. The curry made the normally salty fishy taste an actual delicious bite. Combine the curry tuna with the crunch of the nuts and the chew of the raisin (lettuce tomato and some kind of white sauce) all made a satisfying and delicious bite. Yes. I kept right on eating. The bread is hearty enough to hold up to robust flavors. Overall if you go here. Ask for Zelda (or Matt) they will help you find just the right choices to make your next meal amazing.

This place is amazing. The owner(s) take their baking seriously. The bread is phenomenal, and the breakfast sandwiches cannot be beat (messy delicious). Underrated, open somewhat sporadically (of course!), and if you don’t eat here and love it then you don’t know what thoughtful culinary skill is capable of. Come here for food that has a soul-satisfying purpose. You won’t regret it, I promise!

We were in the area for a wedding. Decided to go here for breakfast as my wife and I love a good breakfast sandwich. My wife got the sandwich with hash browns and I got a bacon and cheese...no joke, it was the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Wish we lived in Mass...we'd be here all the time.

After reading some of the reviews I had to try the best breakfast sandwich, this was everything and more, perfectly cooked eggs, thick cut bacon, I had the hash brown added to it which was crispy with flavors of fried garlic, brioche bun was perfectly toasted with a sprinkle of flaky sea salt, definitely the best breakfast sandwich I’ve had anywhere.

I was staying at a hotel across the street, and stopped in for a cup of coffee. I ended up going three more times in 2 days, and it was one of the unexpectedly wonderful parts of my stay. Gourmet food (I don’t know how they get the egg so perfect in the breakfast sandwich) in such a cozy, relaxing, unpretentious place.
