Intermission Restaurant

I had the pleasure of meeting Alex this evening when coming to place a takeout order for the first time at Intermission. He was extremely pleasant and went above and BEYOND to make sure I was satisfied with my order before leaving! The food was delicious with VERY generous portions of meat for both the lamb and salmon kebabs! I enjoyed his excellent customer service, I loved my food (and I have leftovers) and I will be back!

This place is the bomb, awesome quality to go good price. Had the crab cake, stuffed flounder, and burger so far. Fries and coleslaw are the best.

We had carry out last night from this restaurant and had a great meal. The shrimp and salmon were both cooked perfectly and the spinach artichoke dip was a big hit amongst the family. The owner was friendly and very customer focused making sure that we received the best value for our money. Excellent food and friendly service, what else could you ask for? We'll definitely be back.

This lovely restaurant is absolutely amazing! I have enjoyed every meal that I have gotten from here. The food is delicious. It is fresh and made with extra detail to flavor and visual appeal. The service is also fantastic! I can call there and they know exactly who I am and remember what I like and always have a great suggestion for something new to try. I have some allergies and they are always careful to give me food that is safe to eat! I really enjoy the food and atmosphere at Intermission!

We had a wonderfully delicious dinner of shrimp and salmon kabobs. Very fresh made to order arugula salad. The side sauces were spectacular. Service provided to us was outstanding. Our first visit was very impressive, we will be back to try some more exciting food!

The customer service could not be better. We ordered the arugula beet salad with goat cheese. Yum. The lamb kabobs with turmeric rice and roasted vegetables and the shrimp & chicken kabobs with roasted potatoes.
The roasted veg were nice-squash eggplant. The roasted potatoes reminded me of my grandmother.. lots of delicious paprika. The kabobs were very good. The portions huge ( I had dinner for the next day) The fried cheesecake was not at all what I expected but a pleasant surprise. Reminded me of like a sweet blintz or the knishes that I used to get years ago at Rockaway Beach at Jerry's knishes. The manager was truly interested in my feed back.. good or bad and gave us extra house salads. The dressing for those salads was very good and the salads were fresh and crisp. Curbside pick up was no problem. Will order from them again

Went it to use coupon I had, to find out they don't honor it anymore. Realized most restaurants can't right now with Covid. I ordered food anyway, left extra, and was very impressed with the meals! Very good crab cake, salmon, potatoes, fries, etc. I would highly recommend supporting them. Very nice owners. I wish them much success and will go back again.

We ordered the Family Mixed Platter and it was delicious! Salmon, shrimp, chicken, and beef along with grilled veggies, roasted potatoes, yellow rice, pita, and 2 large salads. Everything was amazing - hot, flavourful, and plenty of food!

I would like to thank Alex for providing us with the most delicious food. I’ve ordered plenty of catering dishes such as lamb chops, beet salad, Russian style potatoes and ahi tuna. Everyone enjoyed this home style food. I strongly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

Hidden gem! Excellent food.
One of the rare places to get quality food. Tasty grilled meats, fish, chicken with a variety of side dishes. So glad I found this place for carry out, especially during covid times.

First time ordering dinner from Intermission. Plenty of food! Kabobs were cooked perfectly. Lamb, beef, and chicken were juicy. Came with enough veggies and rice/potatoes. We also had their spinach and artichoke dip. We will definitely order dinner from here again.

We have been coming to Intermision restaurant regularly and have been always amazed by the variety of delicious dishes, service, live music and warm ambience. Now, since COVID -19 happened, we continue to order carry-out. The food is exceptional! Kebabs, salads, rice, seafood dishes, roasted potatoes are so tasty! This restaurant’s menu is our #1 choice!

I’d give them 6 stars if I could! The food is so deliciously flavorful and the chef is so nice. This is what it means to be fed with love and have the taste a home cooked meal.

Atmosphere was outstanding! Food the best! I’m never rushed to order, the servers always speak and smile. The staff were professional, attentive and kind. Very fast delivery service with fresh and delicious food!

Had a chance to try Intermission today and the food is delicious... would definitely recommend giving them a shot as a new small business in the area. Owner is super nice and has had some bad luck with opening during the pandemic.
