Dr. P is the absolute BEST! We brought our 14 year old chihuahua Hollie in for a surgery. Hollie is better than ever and is playing even more than she did prior to surgery. She’s very young at heart and is healing well. He was very informative and compassionate before, during, and after. If only he’d treat our horses 🤣 we’d be in animal heaven! Thanks again Dr P.

My husband and I were traveling on vacation with our 9 yr. old Yorkie. She became very sick and my husband went to google to find a local veterinarian. He found “The County Seat Animal Hospital “ approximately 25 miles away from where we were staying. Based on all the positive reviews, we made the decision to take our Yorkie there for treatment.
Dr. Brent Pattberg and his staff were not only very professional, but very friendly, kind, and caring.
Dr. Pattberg examined her, did some tests, gave her a shot, a prescription, and special dog food all for a very reasonable price.
He took the time to explain his diagnosis and the treatment he recommended.
It was very comforting to know we had excellent care for our “ fur baby” and that we were not taken advantage of simply because we were traveling and from out of town.
This man truly does serve with honor and integrity as all the previous reviews have stated.
If we lived in Hernando, Mississippi, Dr.Pattberg would definitely be our veterinarian.

We had to put down our 19 year old cat and Dr Pattberg was so friendly during the hard process.

Doc Patberg is one of the most compassionate and honest vets you'll ever find. He will help you and your beloved family member animal. Has helped several of my dogs pass peacefully and with great respect.

Dr Patburg is the only person that can clip Lena's nails without her going crazy. He just talks to her and she never knows what he's doing. Love him.

My dog Duchess did great. She is 7 it was our first visit with Dr. Pattern and it was the first time she had not been shaking all over at the Vet.

Best veterinarian office anywhere! Dr. Brent and his staff are absolutely fantastic. The days and hours they are open are a little different than what you'd probably expect so make sure to call ahead and listen to the recording.

Dr Patberg and is staff are very courteous and professional, and reasonable on prices. Doc gets my dogs and cats back healthy when needed. Doc is very explanatory of his findings and procedures. Highly recommended!

Dr. Brent and his staff are by far the most helpful and courteous, and caring people.
Dr.Brent is NOT in this field of work for the money. He truly does love animals!
He will go past the extra mile to do everything in his power, and knowledge to help your furry loved ones!

my mastiff pit mix became extremely ill and Dr. Brent did everything to save my 8month old puppy from passing...but sadly, my Nora passed from a mushroom she ate in the yard...
Dr. Brent came to work even when his office was closed, so I could bury Nora... he never asked for a single penny during the 2 days she was there.
instead, Dr.Brent and his staff made a generous donation in Nora’s name to Mississippi State animal health research facilities
Dr. Brent is NOT in it for money.
He has been (and still is) a huge role in the life of me and my dogs..

Dr. Pattberg has been my dogs' vet for over 20 years. He loves the animals that come into his office and does his best to treat them. When it was my dogs' time, he and his vet tech were very compassionate. As other reviewers have said, he's not just in it for the money. I highly recommend Dr. Pattberg and County Seat Animal Hospital.

I've trusted Dr. P for years to take care of my dogs. He's kind and knowledgeable. His vet tech, Mindy, is also very knowledgeable and great at what she does there.

Vet & employees all very nice & helpful. They don't make appointments & that can be convenient & useful. Charges were reasonable.

Dr Patberg is the best!! We have a 15 yr old lab mix that had a stroke. Dr Patberg treated her for an extremely low price and did not encourage us to euthanize her. I appreciated that so much as we cannot afford the costs of multiple tests especially at this stage of her life but encouraged us to just love her and take good care of her for the time she has left with us. Thank you, sir!!

Very friendly, it took Dr Pattberg less than 2 minutes to figure out what was causing our dog's leg to swell. He treated her and 4 hours later, she is doing much better.
