my engine had been rebuilt by someone else. 5.9 Cummins. but they could not get it right. 4 mechanics later and it landed at Allen's. he figured it right out and got it running right. It's hard to find, but I'm glad I found a great shop to work on my diesels. great guys, very knowledgeable and fair price. I recommend them for sure. Pastor Lin Robinson

I needed an inspection real quick and my normal go-to place was closed 'due to impending hurricane' so I asked around and AMS was recommended. Allen was quick to acknowledge me and I only had to wait a few minutes. While doing the inspection, he noticed my CV joints were leaking, but he did not pressure me for repair, he just informed me. I'll give him a chance to quote the repair soon.

Had my truck at 2 other shops. One charges me and did not rod problem. Next shop sat for 2 months. Called Danny at ams and they got me in and fixed right. Well worth the money.

I recommend AMS to anyone looking an honest, knowledgeable, professional, friendly mechanic. Estimates are spot on and prices are very reasonable. I have never had to wait to schedule repairs more than a few days. Recently other scheduled work took longer than planned and my car had not been towed at 2pm on a Friday. I fully expected to have to wait until Monday but Allen had my car towed at 3:30 pm and he completed the repair so I would have transportation over the weekend. An additional part beyond what he had ordered was needed that he had to go pick up. He inconvenienced himself so that I would not be inconvenienced.

Danny Ray was referred to my by his brother. Danny Ray went out of his way to help me get back on the road and working. He even went to my house down the road to clear the codes in my truck. Danny Ray is awesome and will tell my friends and family to go and see them with all of their automotive needs. Great customer service!!!!!

Allen and his crew are on top of things. I lost a wheel bearing while traveling on 95 while towing a trailer not only did he come to the advance auto parking to access the damage but found the parts needed for the job 20 miles away had an employee pick them up and installed them ! had me back on the road before lunch . Awesome service very honest and very friendly....

Allen and the team were great! My check engine light came on the day before a road trip and they had my car ready (and cleaned!) by 10:30 the next morning -- perfect timing!

A friend of mine recently recommended AMS Auto to me after they performed an engine repair service for him. He drives a Ford F-250 diesel and was very happy with his truck repair.

I first brought in our Nissan Altima in for regular maintenance, an oil change & 4 new tires. They mounted & balanced the new tires, changed the oil, and topped off the fluids quickly & for a great price. Not long after that, a road hazard caused my Infinit to need immediate auto repair. Allen was upfront & honest about what it would take to get my car back on the road. He provided me with an estimate for the repairs & had my car fixed in no time. Just last week, I brought the Altima back in for another service, auto electrical repair for dim headlights & also a constantly running radiator fan. When we came back to pick up the vehicle, we not only had nice bright headlights & fans that were functioning properly, but the shop had also identified & repaired the issue causing the air conditioner not to work! The same problem another shop quoted me nearly $1k to fix, suggesting the car needed a new ac compressor....

The shop owner Allen is hands on. He & his crew have intricate auto repair knowledge. Whether gasoline or diesel engine service, AMS Auto can fix them all. I have nothing but great things to say about their quality of work, quick turn around time & affordable & upfront pricing I've experienced several times over at AMS Auto. We were traveling through and Allen saw us at an auto parts store stopped with a trailer tire losing air. He went out of his way to check on us and make sure we were ok. He took us to his shop down the road and helped get it fixed up... passed closing time... highly recommend!

I was very surprised at how fast they got the job done. The price was very reasonable. I will definitely be a return customer! I also recommend AMS to anyone needing mechanical work done to their vehicles.

We have Diesels for the work trucks and he has done an amazing job working on them, He is honest, so if you need any mechanic work done he is one of the best , we deal with him very often.

I was really stressed out my car was making noises and I was afraid it was going to break down. When I called here they listened to me and were able to get me in right away the same day. It didn’t take long to figure out what was wrong and get it fixed. I will definitely be coming back here in the future.

I get my car inspected here. They are nice and helpful. My check engine light came on and I called them and I took my car on down. They checked it out for me. They will work with you, when you need help.

We came from out of state to visit and we ended up braking down over the 4th of July weekend,I called on the 5th and spoke to Allen and explained the emergency situation to him and he went above and beyond and got me in and fixed on the next day,the service and everything was excellent, I highly recommend AMS.and also they were very affordable.

Great service; I came in for brakes, they were ordered and on my car in less than an hour (and I must add, there were two cars ahead of me.) One happy customer.☺
