I went and to Lewis Brothers and met both father and son. They showed me all kinds of repair and build pictures. Very nice guys, over the top nice!! I've met most of the builders on Harkers Island and all of them I've met are very good. However, I'll quote a former, yet long time Harkers Island boat builder -- "If you need boat structural work done go to Lewis Bros they are the best boat builders on the Island!"

I seen their work and I must say I understand why this former builder said this. I am not taking away from the other builders as I have seen most of their work, and I didn't see one builders boats that didn't impress me. However, if a former builder (a very good one at that) endorsed Lewis Bros as the best on the island - that speaks volumes!!!
