Don Jose Mexican Restaurant

This is the Mexican restaurant to go to in town. Smoking and non smoking section. Fast great service! Food was hot and yum. Save room for dessert.

The atmosphere was great and the food was good. Our server Amanda was awesome with great customer service.

Love the food the EZRA is my favorite their raspberry margarita is the best I have had. Service is always spot on. The manager actually trains the waitresses himself, so he knows they know what they are doing. Very family friendly, and they don't complain about my little one when she has a lot to say loudly, lol.

Don Jose, is nice and clean. Its not very big but the service and food was excellent. I had the chile relleno with ground beef and I was not disappointed with my choice. On my next visit i will sit on the bar side and try myself an adult beverage. This restaurant is also child friendly with a kids menu.

The food was splendid. Carne asada tacos done to a turn. Excellent pork tamales. The service was a bit spotty, but if you're not in a rush, check them out!

Update: yesterday I was craving tamales, so I decided to go and order my food to go and have a margarita while I waited. They make a decent margarita, which is saying something. They seated me in the bar, brought my drink to me, and let me sit there and read until my food was ready. There were two couples at the bar, and they were enjoying themselves and said they wouldn't mind if I took a picture of them. I happily walked out and came home and opened up containers of extremely savory Mexican food. I ordered the Don Jose platter which comes with one tamale, one carne asada taco, one beef burrito, and a cheese stuffed chile relleno. Small side of guacamole, a bushel of chips and salsa and queso. I still haven't eaten all of it! I first ate the carne asada taco, and it was as good as they come. Later in the evening I ate the tamale. I love the taste of the masa with the savory filling of pork. This evening I had the beef burrito which was scrumptious, and tomorrow I have a chile relleno to look forward to! I've eaten decent Tex Mex in many different places. This is one of the best. The staff is friendly and helpful, I was surprised my food came out before I finished my drink, and I came home with a bounty to last me four meals!

Went in here with my mom for lunch, and the food was awesome, and so were our margaritas!! Our sever was great also!!Definitely recommend giving them a try if you haven't. You won't be disappointed.

This place is great! I stop in every time I am in town. They have an entire menu with healthy options, if you are low cal., or Keto. That is really hard to find.

Tonight was our first time going to Don Jose. Autumn. Our waitress had a great personality and provided top notch service. Sloppy Dos Equis and Frozen Margaritas were the best we’ve had in years. Food was hot, full of flavor, and great sized portions. We will definitely be back.

The food is great & the staff is amazing. The assistant manager, I think his name was Joe, but forgive me if that's incorrect, was kind enough to deliver the portion of my order that was missing to me. This was truly a blessing since I'm currently unable to get out & wasn't sure if I'd be able to get someone to go back for me to get the missing portion. So many thanks to this Assistant Manager.

My meals have all been hot and delicious, and the wait staff is awesome. I try to tip them all.
Employers, please allow your employees to receive their full tips. They certainly work hard for you, and this, and that small tip will come directly back to you, in the way of 🆕 customers.
I enjoy a Long Island Ice Tea in the lounge with my meal, and one drink should suffice most patrons. I can see why there must be a waiting list to work here.

I love this place. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming. They have good food that comes out quick and correct. The waitresses are always friendly and helpful. The other customers are always friendly as well. Overall great and would highly recommend.

Best drinks. Very delicious food and the staff is always helpful. Only place you should visit in Duncan for Mexican food.
