One of my husbands favorite mexican restaurants. I love their taco salads. Very professional and fast service!

Love the traditional Mexican items on the menu. Favorite is Carne Asada El Nepal, Molcajete is a close second. The monster beer mug with Dos Equis draft and margaritas are great too.

This is our go to place for an epic margarita and great tasting food.

Great evening for Cinco de Mayo. Ordered the fajita nachos made with chicken. Starts with a layer of chips, layered with grilled onions, bell peppers, tomatoes and fajita chicken. Topped with cheese dip. Always a great dish. Top shelf margarita was perfect. Will definitely go again.

Really enjoyed the chicken fajitas. Very tasty salsa and absolutely delicious queso! Prices are pretty cheap, too. The atmosphere of the restaurant is quite nice. We had a great meal! Our waiter was extremely attentive and did a wonderful job.

My Mom and I go here pretty frequently. We love the food and the service is great. Everyone is ALWAYS friendly and stay on top of anything you may need. The food is absolutely awesome. One of the two best places in Oakland to eat. (We don't have much to choose from in Oakland but even if we did, El Nopal would STILL get my business)

We stopped here on our way through Oakland and were thrilled with our meals. We picked up our order and the customer service was great! Both meals plus chips and salsa was just what we were hungry for. We have tried several Mexican restaurants since moving to Memphis, and this is the best yet. Yum!

Incredible dining experience. Waiters are extremely welcoming and friendly. Food is good and they are usually quick getting it out. Easily solos El Mezcal.

I love this place, cheese dip is to die for. I had to pick up deliveries recently and they were super helpful, I was new to door dashing so not only wonderful food, great helpers!

Nopal has great service in Oakland. I've never been to the other one. The food is great. The drinks are strong. The salsa and chips are on point. They had a live band i was there on a Saturday. I was part of large group we ordered out. Food prep from order to plate is fast.

So kind and fast! Vegetarian friendly....easily swap out meat for mushrooms/beans/fajita vegetables etc. We really enjoy eating here.

I eat at El Nopal every Friday. Save 4% by paying cash. The chicken soup is chocked full of fresh vegetables. It provides me with an amazing boost of energy.

I had chicken fajitas and they were delicious! Sizzling when the platter was delivered to table. Veggies charred just right. Service was great! Will definitely go back next time I'm in the area. Check it out!

Love the chips and salsa. Totally addictive. Food is good. Service is OK. They bring plenty of chips, but no drink refills. I eat here once a week.

Honestly one of the best places that I have ever been to in my life. The food is the most authentic tasting Mexican food in Oakland, the decor is very festive and inviting, and the servers somehow manage to cater to their customers despite the restaurant being packed. No complaints. Overall, an awesome eating experience. I Highly recommend eating here.

The food was good. They were super busy but our waitress still managed to do a wonderful job.
