My move with Carmel Movers went very smoothly. The guys were great, very professional and took great care of my furniture and house. I truly enjoyed working with them and appreciated all their hard work. Ron was a great guy and a good leader. It was my great pleasure to work with Ivan as well, who provided accurate estimate of the move cost and answered all my questions. Carmel movers were absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process. Ivan was great with getting me a quote quickly and booking the move when I decided to go with them. The day of the move, Ricardo and his team showed up on time, they were incredibly nice and careful with our belongings, and they moved SO quickly. We even ended up asking them to reconstruct part of our couch that we did not initially plan to, and they still worked faster than what we were quoted for. 5 stars all around from start to finish with Carmel

Carmel is the only company to consider when moving. They are professional, knowledgeable and go the extra steps to ensure that your property is well protected. I have used them twice in recent months, most recently this past Thursday, a rainy day. Upon arrival, Melvin and his crew mate had my furniture completely wrapped and on the truck within a half hour. The recipient was thrilled with the offload and Carmel will be used again once the furniture is refinished. If you value your property, Carmel is the one and only company to use. They rock!

We have used Carmel Movers twice in the last year and both experiences were great. They’re timely, efficient, clean and kind. They were also able to fit us in on short notice, which was a huge help. Highly recommend!

So I am sure this scenario will sound familiar to some of you out there. I ordered a queen sized bed to be delivered to my home. The delivery driver dropped my bed OUTSIDE of my apartment building and left it there. He did this despite seeing me with my walker coming towards him to ask for help. I couldn't move it myself. I then spent 90 minutes calling moving company after moving company. Sometimes I could get past the robot that always seems to answer, most times I couldn't.
After an hour and a half of listening to robots ask me to press different numbers and leave voicemails, I finally reached Carmel Movers! And can I say, WHAT A BREATH OF FRESH AIR!!!
The phone rings 3 times and a delightful woman answered. A live actual human! Thank any god! Every god! A person! A real live person! And a very nice, happy, polite one too. I explained my situation and she was so kind and empathetic about it. I really wish I could remember her name. (If you're reading this hun, I'm sorry I forgot. You're wonderful!) She took down my information and told me she was going to immediately call someone who could help and I should wait for a call back.
10 minutes later I receive a call from Ivan. That's all it took. 10 minutes, and another live person calls me. It's almost like winning the lottery! It appears the first wonderful person I spoke to is really on top of her game! I can't tell you how much I love, respect, and appreciate the lack of robot voices on the phone when I am trying to solve a personal crisis!
Ivan confirms with me that the only thing I need moved is a new bed still in the 2 separate boxes, and then tells me to hold on and let him figure out who was in the area. Less than 15 minutes on the phone and Ivan says he found me two of his movers in the area who can get here today so that my bed doesn't sit outside overnight! CARMEL MOVERS TO THE RESCUE!
My movers showed up right on time, with a third set of hands to spare! I've always respected punctuality. In this situation I respect it all the more because I was a last minute add on that was never supposed to be a part of their day, but they still showed up right when they said they would and worked when they should have been home! They contacted me a few minutes ahead of time to let me know they would be arriving soon. They were kind, polite, fast, efficient, and very helpful. They noticed my disability and offered to set the bed up for me. When they were finished they cleaned up all the cardboard and plastic. They gave me a chance to test the bed before leaving. All of this in roughly 20 minutes! They were so friendly and kind to me! Hector and his team were an absolute godsend!
If I ever require moving services again I would absolutely call Carmel Movers! I would recommend their services to anyone else who is moving or requires help moving large pieces of furniture like I did. From beginning to end you will be treated with respect and kindness. You will also find yourself impressed with the incredible work ethic before you. And all for a reasonable price too! Rarely do I feel like I am associating with a company that values the customer as much, if not more than, their profits, but Carmel Movers certainly meets the mark!

Cannot say enough good things about Carmel Moving. Vivo and Ivan were so extremely helpful, fantastic and consistent communication, flexibility with dates (our closing date changed 3 times!), and fair pricing. If you’re moving, save yourself the time searching and use Carmel Moving. I had 6 estimates in person and probably double that for quotes - Carmel was the absolute best.

I have used Carmel Movers twice for my moves in the Boston/Cambridge area and I cannot recommend them enough! The movers arrived on time and were very efficient (even with both of my apartments being on the third floor with no elevator). They made sure that all of my furniture was wrapped with care, and none of my belongings experienced any damages. I spoke with Ivan to book my move, and he was very friendly, helpful, and responsive. They also have one of the best rates in the area.

Carmel Movers did a wonderful job with our move. They were helpful and responsive during and after the booking process, were happy to answer any questions leading up to the move, delivered packing materials in plenty of time ahead of moving day. The movers showed up on time, or even a little early, and were helpful, courteous and careful with our belongings. The price we received was fair and we would most definitely use Carmel Movers again in the future.

The movers were very professional, courteous, friendly, and they arrived before time. Everything was packed with great skill, care and in a timely manner. The furniture arrived at the desired destination in the same condition as before the move. Tremendous service!. Every piece of furniture was safely loaded on the truck. Everything about working with Carmel Movers was smooth and professional, from the scheduling and estimate to the move itself, when they brought 4 movers instead of 3 at no extra charge, and even hoisted our sofa up to the third floor to bring it through the windows! I had a bit of sticker shock with the estimate, but if you’re strategic about the day you move, schedule far in advance, and are able to do some things yourself, the cost becomes very reasonable for a fabulous and reliable team. Highly recommend!

Carmel Movers were fantastic. They showed up on time, and completed my move quickly, but with ample consideration for my belongings (exactly what you want in a mover!). They even took the time to fully disassemble and reassemble my bed, placed my furniture where I requested, and packed a few things I'd forgotten about (they had wardrobe boxes for clothes -- so helpful). I was moving into a three story walk up, and they still got everything done so fast. Definitely recommend these movers, and will use them again for my next move!

I don’t usually leave all that many reviews, but I felt compelled to leave one for this company. Ivan is the one I spoke to first and he was more than accommodating and unbelievably helpful and professional.. Ron the foreman from my move was equally as great. And all the other guys were fantastic. They were careful they were accommodating they were just all around Unbelievable . I will never ever use any other Movers than these folks. The receptionist who answers the phone most of the time was nice and helpful And I can’t say enough about this company. A big 5 stars!

Carmel Movers provided efficient, quality service during my move. I expected some damage, but the workers didn't damage anything—and they were quick! They also were able to store my stuff for a few weeks for free in between moving out of my former place and into my new place.

The office was responsive whenever I had a question or concern. Everyone was very friendly, which is even more impressive for people who are carrying heavy boxes and furniture in 80-90 degree heat up and down stairs!

Third job; Ivan and I talked about and he arranged for my wife and I to move to a new residence in Somerville. Done well for good value.
The three jobs were done recently; first one in May 2023.

Carmel Movers are always great! I’ve used them for 15 years and 6 moves so I really do know. They are professional and careful and have great attitudes throughout every move and that’s not easy. I also work with Ivan to plan to move and he’s awesome!

My office needed to have desks moved out of storage in one building and moved into our space in another. Hector and his team made the entire process seamless and were able to not only assemble the desks in our office, but also help rearrange the current office layout to accommodate the desks being brought in.
