Duke's Fish Shack

I consider myself a catfish connoisseur. When I tell you I've tried catfish all over the world and Duke's is the best I've ever had, I'm not exaggerating. The fish fillets have so much meat and the breading is crispy and perfect. The coleslaw is also a must have. Not too wet not too dry and just perfectly sweetened. The fries extra crispy are also irresistible. If you're extra hungry you have to try the blackberry cobbler, you won't be disappointed! Don't forget to give the gumbo a try.

Duke's has been one of my favorite local spots for the last year. Since my dear friend of the family, Johnny Casey's seafood, closed down. Duke's has become my new joint. When you're in the mood of some seafood and don't feel like driving to the lake. This establishment is the place to go. Laid back family friendly, with great service. The atmosphere is quiet, but food will hit the spot every time.

Very good fish! We had the filets with sides of the beans, fries, and okra. Everything was hot and cooked perfectly. The server was super helpful when I asked about an allergy before ordering, and was attentive and helpful throughout the meal as well! We will be back! A+

Always good food, pleasant atmosphere, and every time my wife and I visit, we meet some amazing people. Btw the staff are amazing also.

Best Catfish in Longview Texas. The 14 piece fillet is affordable and enough to feed a 4-5 person family.

Great portions and taste with excellent service. Our visit could not have been better. The prices were very reasonable too.

On our recent RV trip to Louisiana we gave Duke’s (in Longview) a try... all I can say is WOW! Delicious!!! We had fish & shrimp, fish and oysters both fantastic. I’m like to think I’m a coleslaw critic 😬 this is hands down my favorite coleslaw, I’m just sad I live 2 hrs away but this will become ya regular stop on our travels on I -20. Just a couple minutes off they Highway! Don’t miss a chance to try it!!

This is absolutely my favorite catfish place. The fish fillets are big and seasoned well with no fishy taste at all. All the sides are excellent as well, some of the best coleslaw and hushpuppies you will find. Service is great too. It is well worth the trip to Lakeport.

First time ordering here. The whole catfish was excellent. My boyfriend had the chicken fried steak. He said it was good. But that it could have been bigger. We will be ordering again.

The prices are reasonable and the food is super fresh. The atmosphere isn't super welcoming but the staff make up for it. The order comes up very quick so if you are there wanting to just enjoy some time away, order an appetizer first. Tried 4 different items from this menu and nothing disappointed.
