Candlewood Suites Corpus Christi-Naval Base Area, an IHG Hotel

My husband and I stayed here for one night. It’s close to the bay, the beach, Walmart, Chik-fil-A, Funtrackers and Rally Community Crefit Union. Pretty much centralized. Check in and check out were a breeze. Pets welcome which is a plus. Rooms were nice however the restroom got really humid, no fan to circulate. Kitchenette was stocked and a big full fridge. It’s perfect for an extended stay. Would highly recommend! Price was fair!

This is the Best Candlewood Suites Corpus Christi-Naval Base Area I have personally stayed at! The cleanest rooms along with the friendliest staff with the best customer service I have seen consistently. Great Job to the Management Team there. 5 Stars every time!.
Highly recommend to travelers of the Corpus Christi area.

The room that we stayed in had 2 queen beds & a recliner. The room was very spacious and so was the restroom. The room had a small closet area & a kitchen stocked with all the basic things you need to cook. There is only one ice machine which is in the first floor across the hall from the gym/laundry room. Washers and dryers are free, you just have to take your own detergent. The gym/laundry room closes at 11 but you can ask the front staff to open it if you decide to workout or do laundry after hours. Plenty of parking space and the location is perfect. The front staffis amazing! Super friendly, super helpful. Miss Nancy checked us in and gave us some suggestions on places we should visit before leaving Corpus. I would definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay if you're working in the area. Cooking facilities in the rooms. Comfortable beds. Good wifi. Decent gym and pool. All areas seem clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The owner seems like a really nice guy that cares about his team as well. Can't fault the place.

All staff very friendly. Location is convenient to everything around. Love the pool area and gazeebo. Manager definitely on top of things here. Rates are very reasonable and i can definitely say this is my hotel of choice when in Corpus. You can't beat the amenities out of all the places i have stayed at so far. I definitely recommend this place.

Nice clean room, comfortable beds and pet friendly which was great since we were in a rare Texas freeze that put us without power for 4 days. Staff was very nice and I liked that they provided dishes and pots and pans when most places charge extra for that. They also provided complimentary toiletries. With everything I was dealing with, this place was a welcome reprieve.

It was fantastic. The rooms were spacious, the staff was amazing. I left all of my clothes in the closet, I mean nice suites and shoes, and Beatrice called me and put everything aside for me till I could come back and pick it up. They were amazing. The only thing I would have to criticize was the water pressure in the shower, it was a bit light.

An online travel site overbooked our hotel. During this stressful situation, we arrived at this Candlewood Suites. Nancy calmed the situation incredibly well and within minutes, we were in a nice suite at a reasonable price! A big thank you goes out to Nancy and the hotel for accommodating us on short notice. We plan to stay here on our next visit to Corpus Christi!

We had a great time at Candlewood Suites. It was by far the nicest hotel we have stayed at in the Corpus area. The staff was outstanding. The rooms were clean and we felt right at home. The free laundry facility and cupboard were an extra plus for hotel. We will definitely make this our home away from home from now on when we travel. Beatrice and Amy have our gratitude for their warm and friendly hospitality. Best place on the Gulf. Thank you!!!

This place is AWESOME. We got two queen beds and absolutely LOVED the little kitchen. We were here from Oklahoma and loved the option to bring groceries and cook. Apartment sized fridge, dishwasher, two burner stove top, microwave, table. They have free fruit and coffee downstairs. A good selection of food and snacks to buy. Clean rooms. Excellent front desk staff. Christian is awesome! You can check out dvds for free from a library or borrow appliances and games and such from a lending locker . Love being able to see the ocean from our hotel window! Nice location! Will absolutely be back! My only complaint is that we had two kiddos with us on thr 3rd floor. 5 and 10 yrs old. At 9 p.m. we got a call from the front desk saying the guy below us had to wake up at 4:30 a.m. so we needed to be quiet. Didn't like that at all considering my kiddos were literally walking around and not jumping.

Staff was very nice and took care of all our needs. Rooms were big enough for four grown adults to move around and not be shoulder to shoulder. Everything was clean and up to date. A nice touch was the ability to freely rent dvds from the front desk to watch in your room.

The rooms were beautiful, contemporary, clean, loved the cabinetry and the safety feature to automatically shut off oven if left unattended. They had a well stocked "store" and nice business center set up but favorite part was the pool and cookout area. The entire cookout area was covered, easier to just sit out side, had a very large screen TV and 2 had grills perfect adult hangout while kids swim in the small pool. I would come here again just to reserve that space 😋 the staff were friendly and efficient. By far the better Candlewod in Corpus. I also really liked that they put highlights of offered services on a little card when you check in as opposed to spending 10 minutes telling you when your trying to check in...

Great hotel, clean and beds were comfy. Great for the price and even though close to highway, still quiet. Bathrooms were very clean which is huge in my opinion. Location is near everything! Already booked two more trips here.

Spacious & clean rooms. Nice pool with electric BBQ pits. Little convenience store, free laundry facility & gym. Well lit parking. Kitchen in the room was nice. Had basic dishes, pan/pot & cooking utensils.

Great stay. Our dog loved it and she's not much of a travelling dog. Staff were wonderful. Room was just what we needed for our stay. Kitchen and full sized fridge. We will be back!

I stay here almost on a weekly basis for work. The staff is very friendly and interactive with me and my dog. The rooms are always clean and smell good, the beds and pillows are very comfortable also. I use the gym while here, not state of the art but has the necessary equipment. I will continue to stay here when coming to Corpus.

I loved my stay! The room was beautiful. Had everything we needed. The pool was heated. The staff was incredibly. We had a great view. There was appliances and games and movies available to rent. We joined the club and will be back.

Excellent experience at this hotel. Staff was friendly and our room was very clean and felt updated. I liked how well the parking lot was lit since I had fishing gear in my truck.

The staff is very friendly and professional, the hotel is well kept, and the pool area is very relaxing. Also free guest laundry, and an exercise room with more equipment than your standard hotels. Conveniently located by the water for fishers, and not far from the beach. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're in the area for a night or longer.
