Big Creek Butcher Shop

I LOVE this old-style butcher shop! When you walk in, you smell meat and smoke with not a trace of Pine-Sol or other disinfectant like you do in some shops. The place is small but they do a good business so turnover of products is not a concern.

I have had them process my deer for the last two seasons and they are quick and efficient at it. They also make some tasty snack sausages from your venison if you like.

Friendly people, great service and good prices will all keep me coming back here year-after-year!

We have been doing business with Big Crerk for many years. They have the best service and quality. We have always gotten our meat and have been pleased with the processing. We have told may people about how great they are. Can’t go wrong taking your meat there!!

Service has been good and the meat looks good. However, I used a credit card and was charged an additional fee. I could have used a check but I wasn't warned there would be a fee for using a credit card and she wouldn't let me change once the card had been processed.

Butchered a hog here. My porkchops were inconsistently cut, and parts were ground up that I did not want ground up. Originally ordered sausage links but had to go back another trip because they were ground. The casings were not well secured. The packaging was poorly vacuum sealed and not very clean.

Bought a hog from them. Worst excuse for a butcher I have ever delt with. Tried to short me on meat. I asked several time where’s the rest, they would bring more. 180# hog took up one shelf I’m my freezer. One slab of ribs only 6 pork chops (no fat). I could have bought better from HEB. Not happy at all

Get a live Weight! Then weigh what you bring home! You can go check on line to see what percentage of meat you should have. THEY ARE THEIVES. 1,680#beef brought home 345# of meat. My name is Chris Armstrong

We just had 650lbs of hanging weight and they only gave us 305 lbs back. Extremely unhappy when you pay for a grass fed only cow and the butcher shop takes at least a quarter of your meat. DO NOT GO HERE!

If I could leave negative stars, I would! 48% return of hanging weight!! Unheard of! We have bought bulk in several states and never had this happen😡 something is not right!

Did not go to butcher shop. Went Marlin ISD transportation.
