Delicious, great service 😋 BLT, and onion rings ... yum!

Food In a service station restaurant isn't usually that tasty. But the food here tasted like homemade. Pulled brisket, roasted pepper seasoned corn and the best charro beans I've ever eaten! Clean environment, pleasant staff. Of course there's the beautiful purses and home decorations!!

Food was great. Waitresses were amazing! Restaurant was clean. A hidden gem.

Stopped in as we were passing through and man I’m glad we did. I had the steak fingers and onion rings and some of the best I have ever had. Not pricey but well worth a stop if you are hungry.

Enjoyed a great chicken fried steak. The large gave me enough for lunch the following day!! Home made mashed potatoes, a bowl of cream gravy and the green beans with the bacon can't say more. Off the beaten path however worth the trip. Come hungry!

The atmosphere and decor was relaxed and country. Food was delicious and arrived quickly after ordering. Drinks we are huge portion so I didn't need a refill but our waitress was attentive regardless.

I have yet to try all their menu items, but I know for a fact, the 4 times I've eaten there so far, their food is delicious. Also kind of hard to compete with them for the very same reason. It makes absolute sense that they are the only restaurant in Marquez. Their food is so fresh and flavorful. Can't wait to eat there again. I only wish they didn't close so soon, but again, small town means less late night demand. I can adjust to that I guess. Go Try It Out Now! You won't be disappointed! 👍👍👍👍👍

Friendly service with no pressure to finish up and get out. Everything we ordered was great. Generous portions, the food was fresh, and nothing was soggy or greasy. Better than half of the "home-cooked" food we get in Houston.

A great welcoming place. I came from College Station to a job site in Marquez that took all day. All I wanted was a good meal before heading to town and I got exactly that. Every bite was extremely delicious. I wish this place was closer! They'd make a killing in College Station.

Very good food. Standard American foods: Hamburger, steaks, and fried sides...but very tasty, delicious, piping hot. Homemade feeling about the whole place. Out of the way but worth the drive!

Fresh cut steak fingers to order, hand battered and served crispy fried to perfection!! Try the onion rings and get you some sweet tea.. My new road trip restaurant.

Cute little family owned spot. Fantastic onion rings and fried pickles. Their pattie melt and chicken fried steak sandwich defiantly will bring us back again. Yummy!
