Dr Walls is an amazing Dr he truly cares about his patiences, he goes over all your problems and has a lot of concern for his patiences

Went for my first visit with Dr. Walls this morning. I was anxious and nervous but the moment he walked in, I was instantly calmed. Dr. Walls explained everything in layman’s terms so I could fully understand what was happening. He sat with me as long as I needed and answered all of my questions. We even had a side talk about my fiancé’s last name being Walls as well. I never felt rushed or talked down to, and he never harped on my weight, even though we know it needs to come down. He also made me feel good about my progress thus far. Everyone on his staff was super sweet and inviting. I am so happy I found this doctor and I almost can’t wait to go back and see him!

Dr. Walls is the best Nephrologist that I have found for my husband. I work for a Urologist and will be referring all of our patients that need a Nephrologist to Dr. Walls. His staff is amazing and I am able to reach them at any time- day or night. My husband is only 39 and was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Failure and the patience and understanding and compassion from Dr. Walls and his staff has gone above and beyond. It is really hard for my husband to trust any doctor b/c of the horrible treatment that he has received in the past from 2 other local Nephrologist that I ended up firing really fast b/c they didn't want to take the time or effort to explain to us what we were dealing with. Dr. Walls was so amazing in thoroughly explaining every detail to my husband and completely gaining his trust with his life... LITERALLY. I would give more stars if it was allowed. One of the best, kindest doctors that I know and I work closely with doctors every day. We truly thank yall for going above and beyond for us. - Mr. and Mrs. Thergood

Dr walls is one of the most caring and knowledgeable physicians I have encountered. He has managed my kidney function and diabetes for years. His staff is simply the best!!

I LOVE Dr Michael walls and his office staff. They always take as much time with me as I need and never rush me out of the office. I have been a patient of Dr walls for almost 15 years & would not go to any other nephrologist...he is the best!! ;)

I went to see Dr. Walls after a trip to the ER and they recommended I see kidney specialist. The one they recommended was booked up for two months and would not be able to see me until then. I did my research and checked with my primary care doctor and he said that Dr. Walls was great and would help me out. I went to my scheduled appointment he came in and did not do any assessment. He went straight to explaining to me what the er had said on their findings. Then he recommended I get a CT Scan with contrast, knowing that I am a self pay person. Well he scheduled the CT scan that same day at St. Luke's I get there and wait to be seen by admitting. Once they finally call me back she informs me that before I can have the CT scan I would have to pay a down payment of $2,589.32 before she could go any further. Plus I would owe a total of $4,224.68 after it was completed. Why would a doctor send you to a place knowing you are self pay and that you can not afford to pay almost $2600.00 out of your pocket for that kind of test. When I called his office in Conroe, the girl working there was very nice and told me that she would locate some low cost options for me to go to to have the CT Scan so that I could finally get treated. Well when I called in today to see what options were available she transferred me to the girl who works in The Woodlands office and she said I am sorry but you will have to find a place on your own, we can't help you with that. If this is how people are treated because they do not have any insurance, it is a shame that this is allowed by doctors, their staff and hospitals too. What happened to treating people with kindness and showing that you actually care about the patient and their illness not how much is it going to put in your bank account. If you do not have much money and work hard for everything you have, do not go here because they only care about what they can make off you not about you or your health. Find a doctor that really cares about their patients and how they can help them, not throw them to the way side as trash.

They dont ever answer their phone..... The front desk lady was SOOOOOO rude. I felt like i was bothering her!! Their after hours answering service even said why arent they answering im sorry.
