Ashmont Grill

Very good food! I was eating on 2 entrées at the same time (plus a salad). The wood grilled spicy guacamole burger was very good. But the wood grilled salmon with the mashed potatoes and green beans was excellent. The nice moist salmon with those creamy potatoes and those glossy green beans, I almost ordered another one to take home. With tables being so close together, I met 4 lovely ladies. We talked about the restaurant's last day of service(will be on February 12th) and our favorite wrestlers. If you haven't been here before, get some of this good food in your belly before it's gone. They also have another restaurant, Tavolo. Happy dining yall!!!

We have always enjoyed the outdoor patio during warmer months and we love how their menu is always evolving. We have never been disappointed in a meal here. We recently tried their takeout on NYE and WOW, let's just say that even after the short drive home the food was hot and perfectly cooked. Super easy to order and pay online which makes for a seamless pickup inside. Thank you!

Trainwreck fries was amazing!! As always and the raspberry bread pudding was the best ending. Went well with the cocktail I had Grapefruit paloma.

Drinks were perfect. Food was bomb. Love the outside back area.

This is a great local restaurant. You can see why they have been so successful! The menu changes often and on Thursdays they have buck a chuck (oysters, cherrystones and shrimp $1 each) don’t leave without trying their carrot cake, it is the best around.

Wonderful restaurant. I would like to come here again. I went there after visiting Franklin Zoo by bus #22. Toilet was clean.

Great for brunch, comfy atmosphere with good service and delicious food. Try the eggs benny and tell em to throw some Counting Crows on the sound system.

Welcoming and captivating ambience. Great dishes (although I wish the meat in the burgers was more flavorful) and good place for drinks. We typically dine-in with our infant child, and have always received an excellent service from the waiters and staff. Highly recommend!

Love this place, excellent specials. Flank Steak pictured, so many flavors. Blueberry Cobbler was AMAZING.

I love this place. My girlfriend and I came for our anniversary and it was amazing. The food was excellent and the staff were on point. I recommend trying this place.

My wife and I brought our kids here last night. We live in downtown Boston so don’t get to Ashmont much. We all loved the place. Hostess, bartender and waiter were all friendly and well trained. Made us feel right at home. The food is out of this world! We sat in the bar area (only because my daughter was freaked out by the Halloween portraits of well known scary characters). My wife and I had a delicious drink and then we started with what we all agreed was the best cornbread any of us have had! We had Caesar salad with salmon which were both truly excellent. We also got the pulled pork sandwich and the ribs. Pulled pork was awesome. We thought the ribs were good but had too much dry rub on them. We didn’t get dessert as we were too stuffed but we will get some next time. The short story is that these guys really know what they’re doing in the kitchen and know how to make people feel comfortable in this cozy neighbors place. It’s right across the square from the Ashmont T. It’s worth the drive or t ride. If you live nearby you’re lucky.

Phenomenal Service, Mac and cheese was more like Lacking Cheese but Roasted Half Chicken was to die for, try the pineapple infused Cosmo. Starts the night off right

It was super fantastic! My bartender/server, Luis is incredible. He is very underrated. The environment was chill/serene. I had a drink that lasted me throughout dinner. I ordered the Jasmine curry with shrimp. The mussels. I took an order to go for my partner. The food was fantastic. I recommend this place. I had a good dinner unwinding. The atmosphere was friendly & inviting. You'll truly enjoy yourself. Whether you go solo, with friends or a group. I had a great time & the food was superb. 5 stars hands down.

First trip to Boston. Food was amazing and the severs were excellent.

Awesome food, great drinks, lovely staff (especially Butterfly!) and a stunning back patio. Love that they have a varied menu and their brunch is great.

Good food but had a slight fly problem from the door opening and closing. Wasn't happy with the buzzing around my food. But that's mother nature for you. Not the restaurants fault. Got a pasta dish and pork belly sliders. Very good and the waitress was amazing will go again.

I was dropped off here with a date. I came in with high expectations after reading all the reviews and was not dissapointed! Staff avoided my table for around 35 minutes and I would sometimes overhear the staff snicker at me for ordering Modelo while being of Candian descent. My date didn't like the food either. 5/5 stars

Met up with some co-workers over the Christmas Break. Had some drinks and some food. The Mac Cheese is really good and the Carrot Cake is delicious. Had the Sangria and would definitely recommend it. Really nice atmosphere, clean and just a nice place to hang out and relax. Will definitely be back very soon.

We often come to Ashmont grill for both dinner and brunch. We are satisfied EVERY time. Great cocktails and friendly staff. Small menu but everything is good and they usually have great specials. We love eating on the patio in the summer. Not usually a wait, but parking can be annoying as the lot/driveway is small.

A fantastic eatery and bar. Breakfast - yummy! Brunch - perfect! Dinner - satisfying, cozy, yes! Great service, a great selection of libations. A handsome seating area out back. Easy to access via the Red Line T. I never hesitate to order the burger, the train wreck fries are a must order.
