La Jaivita Mariscos #2

My boyfriend and I come here when we are looking for something solid to eat. What I mean by solid is consistently good. They consistently serve good drinks and good food. I usually get their ceviche. It's consistently good. I get an appetizer every once in awhile and it's always good. I tried their rice for the first time and I have to say it's the best tasting rice I've had from any restaurant ever I've been to restaurants around the country and I have never had rice that tasted this good. I recommend this please because it's just consistently good and their rice is amazing.

Nice little place with good food and atmosphere. It has a full size bar and really good drink specials. The shrimp cocktail is probably the best in the city! Definitely check this place out.

I make it a piont to visit this restaurant at least twice a year, it's a 3 hr drive from my home and ALL worth it! I can't say what's my favorite entree, but we definitely start our meal off with the oysters topped with seveche. I also like the purple red bull margaritas. AC isn't full blast, bust the cold beer makes up for it.

For the freshest seafood / Mariscos I will always visit La Jaivita #2. The flavor was incredible. I had the shrimp tostatda as an appetizer & the aguaschiles got the main dish. Delicioso from start to finish! Also enjoyed a Michelada with a chamoy rim. Cold & tasty!

Great food. Queso dip and homemade chips and ceviche are good starters. I'd recommend getting the ceviche with the homemade chips and not the 3 tostadas it comes with. Loaded burger and fries is worth the price of $7.99. La javita special is really good if your hungry. Overall it's good and so are the drinks.

Spur of the moment decision to stop here and have lunch. We had a plate of mini tacos and a fajita quesadilla and let mme tell you both were delicious. Service was great and the bathrooms were clean. It had a small bar area and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We will definitely stop here again.

This place was A M A Z I N G! THE BEST quesadillas I've EVER had. So cheesy and so flavorful, even their white rice was delicious. I know, white rice? That's what I said when I got my plate, but they KNOW what they're doing. My fiancé got their poblano enchiladas and they were just as good. Authentic and fresh. I would definitely recommend this place!

We were craving seafood so my girlfriend and I decided to give this restaurant a try! I was surprised to find a good Fried Fish (Mojarra) in town. The rice was delicious and their agua de Zandia (Watermelon) is bomb! My girlfriend had the fried shrimp and an agua de Jamaica; it was all delicious!

De-freaking-licious! Excellent spicy margaritas, had the Jaivita special and it was fresh and delicious and can't wait to go back. Service was good and food was excellent!

A restaurant with food that reminds me of home....very hard to find here in Corpus....always great food....great service and cold drinks.

The food was beyond amazing, and our server was on top of her game. I ate the Enchiladas Poblanas. I would drive back the 3 hrs just for them! Thank you to our server. She was still extremely friendly, despite us being there past closing time.

We had the whole fried fish and it was delicious! Last time, we ordered the sampler platter, which was also fantastic! The staff are great and they are rarely too busy to get a table.

First time there though I drive by it weekly. Never see any cars in the parking lot so figured they were closed or not good. They were open this time though customers didn't start getting there until after lunch time. I had a good meal and expect I will return.

This Was My 1st Time Here At This Restaurant. Let Me Tell As Soon As We Walked In The Customers Service Was On Point. Our Waiter Was Very Friendly And Very Handsome With His Smile. I Will Be Coming Back To This Restaurant For The Amazing Food And To See This Handsome Waiter.

Our experience was excellent. Dozen oysters were large and delicious, served on ice with cocktail sauce, hot sauce and limes. Shrimp cocktail was served cold and scrumptious. Combo ceviche tasty and the mini fajita tacos to die for. We were here after tourist season and we had awesome service.
