Citizens

The last two experiences, I have had at this bank were less than desirable customer service wise. The last time I went in was to get something notarized and I had signed the paper ahead of time. Instead of saying maybe email the copy of the document and we can do something the person said sorry I can’t and dismissed me.
The actual two seconds it would of took to do that simple act would of changed my mind in the kindness of people.
I will say that the branch in Norwell was more than pleased to help me, printed off the sheet, notarized it,and also answered my banking questions I had all in the same time.
I have been a customer with citizens bank for awhile and will continue with the Norwell office for my banking needs. We all have off days but being kind and going above and beyond speaks volumes.

Takes FOREVER now after the renovations. Have 2 chairs. Got rid of regular counter. Waited 25 mins to cash a check with no one in front of me but 2 people sitting at the chairs

My last review was from over 5 years ago and man what a change. Like if I could change the bank I would, but sadly I'm just the guy in charge of making sure the money gets to the bank. They're not a full service bank anymore as far as I'm concerned. Now maybe a a personal bank they're fine, but for a small business bank they're not. I'm in charge of making sure that money gets to the bank for a business. When we need coin it's a coin flip as to whether they have enough to give us or not. Like I've actually had to use my personal bank a couple of times to get coin to make it through until the next time we go to citizens.

The person we have bring the money to the bank has been told "this is not a very good time for you to come" like we have a choice. We can only go when we have coverage for the run to the bank. It's not our fault that they decided to go from having 5 teller windows and a drive thru to 2 teller stations and no drive thru. And every time I've been there there's only 1 teller on. On top of that they closed the next closest citizens to make it an atm only branch. So now all the cash business accounts in the area only have this branch as an option.

Arrogant teller, repeats "I'm part of the banking industry, you're not" when trying to ask about Citizens policies.. Avoid this place, plenty of other banks in the area.
