Distinguished Barber Co.

I bring my 4 year old son to the Distinguished Barber Co. for his hair cuts. I typically book with Jeff but my mom brain got him and Jared confused so our appointment today was with Jared.

My son was, to put it nicely, a very tough customer today. Jared handled him with such compassion and patience and somehow managed to give him a wonderful haircut despite the tantrums and difficulties he was faced with.

I have been a client at Distinguished Barber since their first day in business. 5 years later, I write this review due to the immaculate and impeccable service the entire staff offers every single cut. In my experience, Jeff Macdonald has cut my hair since 2019. Jeff sets the standard of what it means to be a Master Barber. Jeff always offers his unwavering attention first to wholly understand what my needs are as a client of his. His passion for his master craft is beyond evident with every-time one has the pleasure to sit in his chair. Additionally, Jeff is one-of-one in terms of his expertise, virtuosity, and compassion for his clients. Time and time again, Jeff is always present to share an insightful conversation with his clients, or respect their space depending on the day. I strongly urge you to give Distinguished Barber a try, and more specifically, Jeff. With assurance, I can say that each time I leave Jeff’s chair I feel better than when I sat down. He never fails to deliver a professional cut, and an even more professional message.

I never write these but this place deserves every praise. I got my cut done by Pedro. The man is a master. I went from probably 2-3 ft of hair down to about 4 in on top. I was worried at first making such a drastic change but dam I'm glad I did now. He took the basic look I was going for altered it slightly to fit my face better and made everything as clean as humanly possible. If your looking for an amazing professional cut this is the place to go. My brother got his cut done by Abby at the same time his came out just as perfect I know he is as happy as I am

I've been going here for at least a year and it's the best barber shop I've been too! I highly recommend coming here. Everyone is nice and the place is very clean and nice.

I’ve been going to Pedro for the past few years since he opened up the place. I haven’t been anywhere else since. I try my best to be loyal to my barbers throughout the years, and Pedro makes it very easy. Fresh cuts and he’s a good dude. I’ve also had my hair cut by Jeff a few times and can say the same!!

My husband has been getting his hair cut at Distinguished Barber for a couple of years. He’s always pleased with his haircut, and I think it looks great too!

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Pedro for awhile now and I have to say almost every time I do, I’m always so amazed at how unbelievable it comes out! When you go you’ll understand what I mean, I go not only for a great cut but also how welcoming and nice he is to me and anyone else that walks through the door. So I would recommend to anyo(not that I already don’t every time someone compliments me on my hair cut) go check him out!!

If you want a top notch hair cut, this is the place. Been going going here for a couple years now, and don't trust anyone else. These guys do it right! Pedro and his team are friendly and the cuts are consistently top notch. I never had a regular barber or place that I always visited until I came to the Distinguished Barber Co. Highly recommend... oh and the movies are always on point, too!

The owner is a good man named Pedro. He gives the best cuts on the south shore. I’ve been going to him since he was in barber school and followed him to all the different shops he’s worked at. He’s great with kids too. He’s hooked up all my nephews.

My son and I always receive flawless haircuts from Pedro. All the barbers are great as I always watch to see how their cuts come out and would go to anyone of them if Pedro isn't in. I couldn't imagine ever going to another barbershop. ☆☆☆☆☆

Modern and clean, with a younger staff of barbers. You get the hot foam and spot shave with your haircut, which is crucial. You'll need to make an appointment during COVID, but it's easy to set up online and the staff is accommodating. Good haircuts too.

Pedro’s the first barber to cut my sons hair perfectly, so much so my husband has switched to him as well! His new shop is huge, very clean, easy to locate and there’s plenty of parking.

Went there today 5/10/2022 for the first time and Sean did an amazing job. One of the best haircuts I have ever got. Definitely will be going back there

Walked in after South Weymouth was packed to find an open quiet place with great music. No wait and ended up getting a pretty awesome cut from Mike. Definitely using this place moving forward. I came out of the place feeling like a new man. You know that feeling you get after you get into a new car finally? That's how you feel when you leave here.

Moved to the area and was looking for a solid cut, after reading the boasting reviews I went ahead and booked a haircut (online booking - CONVENIENT) Abby did an excellent job. Top notch service! Highly recommend.

Best Barbershop on the South Shore. My husband and kids have been coming to Pedro since he opened. We drive 45 minutes just to get their haircut. So worth it
