Amazing Haitian patties! Line up out the door at all times is a testament to how good the product is!

If the line is out the door, that's an indication that whatever is on the other side is going to be GOOD! This family owned business has been around for years (over 30 years), and the must-have here is the Haitian pâté. The options are chicken, beef, fish, and herring (the fish and herring are two different patties. I've tried them all, and my favorite are the fish patties. I'm assuming the fish used is saltfish (pollock or cod). It is so light (thanks to the puff pastry), flaky, and slightly spicy.

Get there early they tend to run out!

If you are hungry for our patties, just drive to Le Foyer Bakery in Babson Street, Mattapan, MA. You will just be hungry for more, an unforgettable taste.

i don't give much establishments 5 stars but here is why I will give LeFoyer 5 stars. It is not because I have literally been going there since I was roughly 4 years old (probably sooner), or the fact that the pies (ALL of them) are delicious, or even the fact that they are the first Haitian bakery in Boston (to the best of my knowledge). it is because they are always improving and this is from a customer perspective. Yes, from the outside, it looks pretty much exactly as it did when I was 4. It is a pretty simple layout. However, when you go inside, the line system has needed improving and it is clear that they responded to that demand by not only hiring additional staff, but creating a system within the line that makes things go more efficiently. In case you got this far in the review and you have never been there, sometimes the line can easily be out of the door. so you can imagine you need an efficient process. Bottom line is, they have loyal customers like me so you know they are doing something right. I wish them continued success! Haitian patties are better than Jamaican patties. I said what I said

it's a clean and welcoming simple space. it contains the originality of Haitian food. you can eat with your family or invite friends.

Haitian cusine is utterly amazing. Chicken Patties taste the best. $2.00 each (prices might change cause of the pandemic)

They make the best patties beef , chicken,saltfish, and herring hands down! I just wish they were faster with the service but i will never stop eating the patties they make cause they are simply the best!

Been coming here since I was a kid. A Haitian landmark in the community. Best patties in Boston. I recommend to anyone looking for good food. Weekends around noon are very busy, so plan your visit accordingly.

I been going to this place for years and i can tell you ,you wont regret wasting any money here! The have different selections of Haitian deserts/ cakes/ and drinks that I enjoy! Le Foyer is famous for making the best patties in town I don't think anybody could top them! Everyday I would be craving for their patties!

The beef patty is the best

Best Haitian patties around but the wait is terrible but worth it. They need two cash registers because they are always busy. And they NEED, NEED, to start being able to take orders over the phone. People shouldn't have to drive possibly 45 mins to the bakery to wait in line for another 20-30 mins just to place an order for a party. Every restaurant takes party orders over the phone and payment for said orders. Get with the times! But keep up the good work.

It's a grab and go place. You can place your order in advance and come pick it up. Personal are njce and friendly. No seating area. Parking available. It is always busy. There is always a line. But, the cashiers are very fast. There is 1 person who is serving you while you pay, so it is always fast. The treats are delicious over there. There cakes are delicious. I will recommend this place if you looking to just buy treats to go

Everytime I'm in the Boston area I desire to stop by and get haitian patties. I can't always make it there, but my mind is settled on them. I've known this place since early 90's an they still very GOOD! Yes they need more cashier bit patties make up for it....lol

If you're looking for a little taste of good snack, breakfast...and other stuff, visit there. You will feel at home. Everything is kept hot, fresh, and cold (if meant to be cold) such as drinks...Haitians who live in Boston know what I'm talking about.

Clean space, plenty of parking and the food there is well prepared...true authentic Haitian food.
