Not in the military. I asked the kids Dad if we are able to do it and he thought they could. Before hand I called and asked if I could take them without a military ID. The gentleman on the phone said if kids have a military ID they could bring me as their guest. When I arrived the lady checking IDs at the door said they can't bring a guest unless they are 13. She informed me that they usually prefer the active duty member with them. She did make an exception and we were able to swim. Also PSA- In case you weren't aware about the guest. If you wish to bring a guest they must live 50+ mile radius from Benning

A decent lap pool. The lockers are really tiny so even normal sized gym.bags have issues fitting.

I like this place. I really do BUT why is a indoor pool closed "due to inclement weather"????????

Just moved back to Fort Benning, so I haven’t use the pool since about 2018. Today was the first day I was going to get a good swim in. I pull in at about 5:15 AM and I’m told by a lifeguard standing outside that they forgot the key this morning and if I want to try back at around 6 it “might” be opened. The lifeguard was perfectly polite and apologetic, but my biggest frustration is that my time is completely wasted... Especially when I got up early, prepped everything the night before, and was mentally ready to swim.

Is there really only one person with the key? Did you forget it? Did the person with the key just not show up to work? Whatever the excuse is… it seems like it should be a relatively easy fix… Get more keys as backups… or just go get the key…

Update the hours for open lap swim. Online it says Mon-Fri 0500-0700 and NO ORGANIZED PT. Show up this morning at about 0600 and there’s a giant group in OCPs waiting to do survival swimming. I talk to the lifeguard and she says the pool is closed for lap swimming… Wasted time.

The website hours are not correct & the staff is rude. They act as though it is your fault that they have to be there to work .

The only pool at the MCOE.... dirty, rundown and the head of the staff is rude.
