Answer to my prayer. We're here visiting family and found a little stray honey colored puppy on the step when returning from Tuscaloosa last night. Called and to my delight they told me to bring her in... Such carrying people.

I love what they do for all the animals! Everyone there is a huge animal lover and they work so hard to get the animals adopted. Keep up the good work.

It is a fiscal irresponsibility for the government of hale County and its citizens that the shelter is not supported by not only the board of directors but the citizens. It is under staffed and underpaid. Please add this fa ility to your annual budget . Advertise for volunteer
Hold local adoption clinics so all animals have a chance to be seen.. also,, provide for an animal control officer along with a proper vehicle for transportation.Advertise.
