Her Majesty's English Tea Room

Wonderful experience! Went with a few gals for a class reunion. Reservations are required and completely worthwhile. They prepare their items for your party and from-scratch. The tea room is nestled in the midst of Fairchild's Gift shop in the heart of the town of Dunlap, IL. Fairchild's is a wonderland of a store, very much worth the visit in it's own right. Had 11am High Tea on my third visit to the store -- I'll be back again!

I have not eaten here yet but the shop is just delightful. Utterly brimming with British nick knacks, very beautiful clothes, costumes for little girls, tea, chocolates, unusual jewelry, china, and hats. The garden outside is lovely. The friendly owners put their hearts into this place. I can't wait to go again.

Have since had high tea here and it was super. Not authentically English, but a good approximation, and who cares, it was delicious.

Was a pleasure working with Jackie and Jerry while I was helping host a friend's baby shower last week. They took care of us and catered to all our needs.We had so much fun posing with hats and drinking tea at the place. The food was also so yummy! Will definitely go back and recommend to other friends.

Fairchild’s is like stepping into an enchanted forest. The displays are eye catching and whimsical and the variety of merchandise is incredible. I love the letters they have received from British royalty, which adds to the charm. The owners Jackie and Jerry are two of the nicest people you’d ever meet. I just love going there when I’m back in Illinois.

Wonderful experience and ambience! If you're in the Peoria area, don't miss it. Aside from attentive service, tea, and tea tray delicacies, the whole building is an homage to England and the Royal Family. You can spend an hour just looking around at the countless unusual items.

Wonderful food and hospitality. Their gift shop is the best for all things British, so many beautiful items. I cant wait to visit again.

Very lovely English style tea with clotted cream and the whole bit. All sorts of lovely things in the gift shop. A must do!!!

The food and tea were wonderful. The place itself is so unique. I loved our hosts. I will definitely be going back.

I went there with my mom and my daughter -in-law a few years ago. We had the time of our lives there. The staff there are always friendly and professional.

Such a unique experience, and the shop offers a wide variety of British themed items.
