The Coffee Hub

I came here because I wanted to try a coffee shop outside of Peoria and the Heights. I must say this is one of the best shops I've been to. They have so many flavor shot options. I didn't expect that in a small town like this. Also, the barista Brad was super kind, helpful and made a great latte!

Fantastic coffee shop - didn't expect to find such a great place in a little town. Wide selection of coffees, specialty drinks, sandwiches, pie, other pastries, fudge and ice cream are available, plus a big selection of bottled sodas. Local artwork is displayed, and for sale at good prices. Tried the seasonal "mint frost" latte, for March and enjoyed it along with the good ambiance and the large seating area - comprised of tables and chairs up front, sofas in the back.

I go to this spot about twice a month during my work trips to Peoria and I'm always very happy with the service and the coffee. It's always tidy and welcoming. They have old fashioned sodas and root beers you can buy. Great small town coffee shop that is worth a visit.

Always a pleasant surprise to find a nice coffee place in a small town. I only had a coffee, but the menu looked promising. Coffee shops in small towns are extra interesting cuz they concentrate the misfits, the artsies, and the posers from miles around. And that's just fine.

Pastrys and drinks are great! Art on the walls for sale. Nice little coffee spot.

We love grabbing a fresh, cup of gourmet coffee when heading out of town! Their ice cream is also good, as are their chocolate-covered espresso beans. I also have enjoyed their sandwiches on occasion. Everything has been fresh and delicious! It's a great little place to enjoy a bite and play a game or indulge in works of art by local artists.

I love this place! It is a hidden gem. Their specialty coffee is superb. I stop on the way from Peoria to Chicago every time.

Great local coffee shop. Fair prices and quality stuff. Local made fudge and ice cream. They have hot and iced coffee, smoothies, sandwiches and soups. Different daily specials. Any time I go through Lacon you can bet your bottom dollar I'm stopping.

me & fiancee travel between peoria and la salle about every month and there's no other place i love to stop by for coffee on the way except this one!!! it's quite small, but i love how cozy it is! they also have an amazing vegan flax bar that i highly recommend if you're looking for a nice little snack.

the prices are great too. the coffee isn't the best i have had, but i can't complain because it's still good coffee for a great price.

Great place to get remote work done!

Surprise surprise! This place is a delicious surprise in the middle of nowhere. They make their own fudge and it’s terrific!

I stopped here on my way to Chicago from Peoria. I ordered German chocolate cake latte (I know!) loved it.

We live in Mossville, but enjoy driving along the river every once in awhile and one of our favorite places to stop at is The Coffee Hub in Lacon. Exceptional friendly staff, nice & cozy place they really go out of their way to make your visit there enjoyable. We've had frappes, sandwiches, ice cream, fudge (oh so good!) everything has been delicious! You must try the skillet cookie!

We love this place! My coffee is always just right. I would choose The Coffee Hub over Starbucks any day. I truly believe every cup of coffee made here is made with love and that's why it taste so good, every time!

Had a fun day with my girlfriend she loved my favorite item there I highly recommend it for you guys too got the caffeine freezer vanilla Chai made with coffee very tasty we also brought home a cinnamon toast crunch freezer very good!!!

Love this place! Great ambience with tasty coffee. From a comment another customer made about 18oz no refill vs 20oz refill coffee-the 18oz is in a to-go cup. The refill is 12oz in a ceramic mug for those who plan to stay for awhile.

We go to the Coffee Hub regularly, because we love the coffee, ice cream, food and the friendly atmosphere. Lacon has had other coffee shops that haven't quite got it right, but the Hub does everything the way it should be. Plus, there's great evening entertainment a couple times a week.
