Bread N Butter

This place is great - I came here for Kyiv cake (they have Roshen!!) and left with a bunch of other things that are hard to find in the US. The woman running the store was very friendly and helpful in finding whatever I needed. Ended up coming back pretty soon after the first visit, and will be making regular trips down here despite living pretty far

Your basic "no-nonsense" East European neighborhood store for people who do not count calories. Chocolates, fish, sausages, cold cuts, cakes(!!!), wines, liquors, souvenirs, etc. If you are looking for a small gift, need to bring something slightly different to a party, don't feel like cooking or just want to treat yourself - go there:)

The area is fortunate to have this well stocked store with truly diversified foods and wines. Those who have only shopped at the big box stores and have never ventured to this little nugget are missing so much. The array of food choices can be a little overwhelming at first but the owner is patient in explaining everything! A gem.

If one wishes for sameness and ordinary then be advised, this isn't a stop for you. On the other hand if a ticket to Vilnus is out of the budget, or you don't have the time to spend a week traveling - with a little imagination and a stop to Bread N Butter you might just trick your taste buds for a meal or two. Managed by a fabulous woman who finds as much enjoyment in sharing her knowledge of the Russian, Ukrainian, Lithuanian, Latvian... etc. foods, as we did in learning about them. Bread N Butter is equally a 10/10 for an adventure, or a prep stop for an excellent cocktail party. Don't overlook the flavored vodka... a spicy (and Massachusetts made) final item for your basket!

Great Ukranian Market with everything you need! Not sure what the negative reviews are about, Maria is a passionate business owner and a great conversationalist. Would highly recommend!

Eastern European food, beer, wine and more!
Great selection and surprisingly low prices, particularly for the wine.
Saves us the drive to Newton or Brookline. We will now be regulars.

The best "walnut" dessert that i've eve had in my life; wonderful fresh products from back home that I wish to have every day at my home:)!!!
