Tino gives a one-of-a-kind haircut experience. I can honestly say I have never had as much fun while getting my haircut. Not to mention the sick haircut he gave me. I’ve seen other reviews mention that he didn’t listen to what they wanted. I will say that he did freestyle a little bit, but it turned out better than what I had asked for. I would trust him. All around: 10/10. It was a unique experience, but if you go in open-minded and wanting a good time, you’ll get exactly what you need.

I recently moved to Quincy from Iowa, where I had only gotten my haircuts from large franchises. After reading reviews of places in the area, I decided to go to The Barber Spot rather than a large franchise and it was one of the best decisions I've made since moving here. My barber was Tino and he did an amazing job. I can honestly say it's the best haircut I have ever gotten. Like all of the other reviews say, this is a great barber shop with friendly and talented barbers who make you feel comfortable and want their customers to look their best.

Tino is very nice and down to earth dude. I was a little anxious in trying to find a new barber after going to the same one for years. I found Tino on google and the rest was history. He's a easy going person, and I told him what I wanted and he made sure I was leaving the shop looking spectacular. I would recommend him to everyone I know.

Tino is a very skilled and professional barber. He takes his time and makes sure you end up with the best possible result. He is super chill and gives you a wash included with the haircut, which is awesome. Definitely satisfied and will be coming again! Thank you

AMAZING haircuts. Fantastic attention to every detail on your head: the freshest lineups, great styles, they'll shampoo you, do your beard, sideburns, use a straight razor, anything you need. Tino is so friendly and provides a great atmosphere. Very laid-back and flexible-- just call or even text to make an appointment. The best haircuts I've ever gotten. If he can make my hair look good, he can do wonders for you.

I have to say that I was very impressed with the Barber Spot. I am not from Boston and I was looking for a place to get my haircut and Tino did not disappoint. He does an excellent job relating to his customers and the haircuts that he gives are first class. He took the time to line me up carefully with a razor and he even washed my hair when he was finished. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a quality haircut.

Tino isn't just a barber, he's an artist. He doesn't rush through your cut to get to the next client., but takes his time and makes sure your hair looks fantastic when you get out of that chair. He's a pro with the straight razor, too -- my beard lines have never looked so tight.

The shop has a great atmosphere: everyone is friendly and there's plenty of comfortable seating. I really feel at home chatting with the barbers and other customers and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

Currently undergoing a few renovations (November 2013), the shop is clean and spacious, and only promises to get even better once they've finished reorganizing. Highly recommended!

Tino is one of the realest dudes I've ever met, and gives a killer haircut too. From a New Yorker, this is what a barber shop should be. Great conversation and good vibes. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

The Barber Spot is one of the best barbershops around. Being new to the area, I saw a few barbershops in the area but I'm definitely making the Barber Spot my new joint. I stopped in and Tino gave me a better cut than I could ask for. He's an amazing barber and good people.

Best haircut I've ever had! Tino takes the time to focus on your whole face. He begins with a scalp and face massage using oils and lotions to smoothen your skin! He pays great attention to detail and does and shampoo and wash at the end. He accepts credit cards (great as I never carry cash) and allows appointment setups online. He's a great guy to vibe with as well. I live in NJ but when I'm in town, I make sure to get a cut from Tino.

The barber spot is an experience, not just a haircut. I went there for the first time on Sunday, and it was the most relaxing haircut I've ever had. I left there feeling refreshed, and with a great angled fringe on my head.

The place is old school, but whoever said that its dirty and smelly is downright lying. IF anything, with all the "hot sauce" (massage oil) that Tino uses, it smells more like a perfume oil shop, rather than a barbershop.

I highly recommend Tino, and will be going back to him again!

This place is a hidden gem! This is not your usual 'Salon' but it is an experience. Tino is very talented and does a great job. At the end of every hair cutting session you come out refreshed and with an amazing hair cut. Highly recommended.

This was my first time going to The Barber Spot. All three barbers (Naz, Luis, & Tino) are more like your lost childhood friends. They treat you very nicely the moment you enter the door. The environment at this place is not like other Barber shops where you go in, get a haircut, and leave. All 3 of these excellent skillful barbers take time to talking to you. I had my haircut done by Naz. He was very friendly. No other Barber has ever asked me for my name where Naz actually did and introduce himself to me even though the shop was busy and took time in getting my haircut proper. I had asked him for advice because I was trying to do a new style and he helped me choose a design and I loved my haircut. I highly recommend this place to people who move to Boston or in the area. The shop is very easy to get to via the T. I will be going back to them!

It took me over a year to find a good barber in the Boston area since I moved up here from Philadelphia. After the first cut, I knew Tedo was the real deal. I've been going back ever since.

The Barber Spot provide the best cut compare to other places I go to in Quincy. The place is clean, the owner is nice and friendly. The haircut is only 10-15 which is not bad, they give you the cleanest cut and really good line up. I say it worth every dollars.

I have been going to The Barber Spot for about 6 months. I just popped in one day, got a great cut from Tino. He does an amazing job, the place has a great atmosphere and all the staff and customers are very friendly. I would definitely recommend going here.

When you move to a new city it takes some time--a few episodes of trial and error or trial and acceptable--to find a barber who cuts well and with whom you are at ease. On top of that, the surroundings have to be clean (I think the state requires that but some shops don't seem to know!), and even better, inviting, with cool music and sensible conversation. If you move to Greater Boston, or if you are a resident of Quincy, Dorchester or nearby areas, check out the Barber Spot. Tino and gang are among the best in the region. I have lived in several cities and don't take this lightly. The barbers are true experts and treat you like you are a prized client--every time. After moving to the area it took me a couple of tries to find this place. Let me save you the trial and error part. No matter your ethnicity, for reasonable prices, convenient location, great atmosphere, and barbers who are pros, the Barber Spot is the spot.
