We actually planned on going to worlds end but did not know you needed to make reservations. So Bare Cove Park was close by and I’m really happy we decided to hike!

Well worth the visit. Easy parking. Beautiful views, and plenty people walking dogs. Very friendly place and easily accessible.

I would highly recommend coming here for your nature fix we will be back!

As a local Hingham resident, I walk in the park every day that I can; it’s a gem for the greater community, and I highly encourage everybody to get out and check this place out.

I’m lucky enough to have this park within walking distance of my condo, and it’s one of the most underutilized parks in the area. There are both trails and paved paths, so it’s great for biking, walking, hiking and lots of other active activities. One thing to be aware of is that sometimes people walk the dogs off leash at this park. Even though there’s a local law against it, people still don’t follow the rules, so if you fear dogs because she’s on the alert for a dog to run up to you randomly.

Every single time I am visiting this place, I never get disappointed. The well kept park and walking paths, the people who genuinely get engaged in conversation. Lovely place to take your dog for a run or a long walk.

Nice scenic place to walk. Can get busy at times. Most dogs are leashed. People seem to clean up after their dogs but I have encountered areas where they don't so be aware!

This is a lovely place to go for a walk or bike ride. Easy inclines, so biking or roller scooter with kids is great too. Dogs on leash are welcome. Shady and sunny areas. Very clean and well-maintained, Beautiful views of the water.

Loved all the different trail options. Some are paved and others are through the woods. Some trails boarder the ocean. There were a lot of people here, so I made sure to wear a mask whenever passing others because I'm a medical professional. Came across some artwork in the woods. I thought there would be an entry fee, but there wasn't & there's also a large parking area.

Beautiful park, especially in the fall when the mosquitos and flies clear out. Would recommend bug spray but it’s a great length (I usually do the 5.2 mile option).

A great place for a walk, jog or a day with the dog. They do offer "off leash" dog walking every other day, although dogs are welcome everyday. A former military base, that has both paved routes and some unpaved trails. Lots of miles to walk if would want to take the extended routes and even a waterfront walk. Just a great place!

Bare cove is such a great place, it has a really even walking path that it paved. There is beautiful trees, you can see the marsh and walk all the way to the water or you can take another path and walk amongst the beautiful tree lined path. You can bring your dog, your baby or even your grandparents. Walk as little or as far as you like. It is beautiful all year long, there is a big world flower garden when you walk in during the spring/summer and in the fall all the foliage is beautiful. Winter and spring there are some great mud puddles if you aren't afraid to get dirty

Pretty upset with myself for not discovering this place sooner. What an absolutely lovely park in our community. I'm more used to rough, woodsy trails but the paved paths here make it the perfect park for families with strollers or for anyone in a wheelchair. There are some very cool spots off the beaten paths and the history of the property makes it even more special. We can't wait to come back and have a picnic dinner as the weather gets nicer.

The park is very kid, dog, and bike friendly. The paved path is very wide and relatively flat, perfect for my kids to ride bikes. There is a rocky beach that is great to throw rocks and let the dogs wade in the water.

Very lovely park! Most of the paths are paved so it would be very stroller friendly. There are a lot of dogs, a few of which were off-leash on the regular path. There is a designated area by the water that is for off-leash dog walking which is rare to see. Lots of birds and nature!

Bare cove park is a charming park, to walk, run. Or bike around. You can also kakak or canoe there. I believe you can also have a BBQ, but I would call to get information on that. It is also a great place to walk your dog. There is a main paved path and off path trails through the woods. There is a great deal of history at this site, and a small museum that is sometime open, one of its treasures is a letter from General Patton. This place is a hidden gem.

A great place to walk with a significant other or with your dog - there are both paved and dirt paths for you to walk on. Lots of nature to take in and refresh your soul. There's also a nice amount of water at this site - I believe a row team practices here. This site has a connection to glacial history as well.

Great place to go for a walk through the woods. A lot of people walk they're dogs. Beware of landmines. LOL Some people just don't get. Everything about the place is great. If you like the outdoors
Plus there's a little bit of history there. It was a WW2 submarine munitions base. Who knew?
I thought it to be interesting.
Have a great day.

This park is officially Georgie approved. Lots of trails and fields for your pup to run around in and there's water to cool off in!
