Comella's Restaurants Hingham

Went there today(8/3),for the first time and had a really good experience on all fronts. The calamari was cooked just right and delicious, and then I had the steak bomb which tasted out of this world. My spouse had the veal parmigiana which was cooked just right to flavor. Our server Chris was so nice and attentive. Kudos to Ronnie the chef. Definitely going back.

Moved into Hingham, Ma from Manhattan, so I guess I should be a great judge of Pizza. Comellas restaurant in Hingham has by far the best Pizza of any of the other restaruants in the area. We also tried their chicken Parm, another winner. Finished it all with a fresh hand made Cannoli with dark chips. Wahooo love this place .

We saw this place on phantom gourmet they liked them we tried them and wholeheartedly like them too!! I got the fusilli and meatballs both homemade in house...Wow what a fabulous meal!! It just melted in my mouth! Huge portion size too! Enough for lunch tomorrow! Bonus My husband got a pizza with fresh mozzarella and pepperoni in between bites of a hot delicious pie I could hear yes oh my God!! I know that it was really good!! A must if you're craving good Italian food!

Comella's is great. Their tomato sauces are always very fresh. My favorite thing to order are their calzones. Seating is limited, but I've never had to wait or anything. Contrary to another review, there is both restaurant style seating and counter service.

Never disappointed. Best eggplant and chicken parm. Italian gravy is the closest to aunt's homemade I have ever tasted. Portions overflow! Clean, friendly and accommodating staff, and cozy atmosphere.

Hi, I would like to give an amazing review to a wonderful gentlemen named Ned Buckley. I had an amazing talk over the phone when placing a reservation. I made it with ease because of how good the service was from Ned Buckley. When I came in I was greeted by Ned and he led the way to my seat. This encounter made my night.

This location has a "sports bar" side and a non-alcohol side for more casual dining. The food is delicious. Portions are large enough to take half home. Try the "messes" (Grandpa's is my favorite) . The antipasto was delicious too with generous portions of cold cuts.

Comella's Italian Restaurant is the best. They have anything you could think of. My favorite...toasted ravioli, garlic bread and chicken parmesan, plate or sandwich. They have a gluten free menu. It comes in handy. I know I should stay away from gluten, but it is too hard to resist. The last time I was there I got shrimp scampi with gluten free pene pasta. It was awesome. No stomachache either. You won't leave hungary, or poor. They feed you like family and the prices are really great. Want to watch a sports game, you can on their many flat screen t.v.s. I love this place and know you will too.

I enjoy Comella's and they are excellent for take out and catering! They are my favorite Italian caterer for a big holiday party. I have ordered from many locations and they are always very good.

What is "mess"? According to the menu, it's a "mystery recipe" with a secret ingredient. It's basically a pasta-based dish - lasagna, shells, penne, and the like - with add-ons. It all started years ago when at the end of the day, the family didn't know what to do with all the unused sauce, pasta, eggplant, and veal. An idea was born: create a "leftover mess.” The concept became popular with customers and the idea was refined to move mess from the "leftover" category to main billing on the menu. "Today, everything in the messes is made that day, fresh."

Get Extra shrimp on scampi pizza because they are cooked better than 5 star fine dining... AND while You can be drying Your comforter at the Best laundry mat a block away, hit a PLant Fitness during the 28 minute wash cycle then eat homemade food during the dryer cycle & still get home before you're a pumpkin (midnite😀)!!!

This place has such a great atmosphere and beyond affordable prices. Would definitely recommend this place in the future! Everything is so tasty and the staff is extremely accommodating!

We got takeout from Comella’s on Christmas Eve. Service was fast, staff was kind and prompt, and we loved our food!

Great pizza. The 'mess plates' are definitely also worth a try, they mix every type of pasta they have into them.
