Mad Hatter Restaurant

Was in Weymouth in area and stopped in to have breakfast 9:15am today. Dee D. Was my server very friendly and welcoming with a smile the place was nice looking inside. I got the Hungry Man breakfast plate, pancakes, toast, home fries, Han, sausage, bacon and 2 eggs. I got banana pancakes, light fluffy nit to heavy the bacon was crispy as I ordered, home fries tasted delicious, eggs over easy cooked perfectly, ham grilled tasty and sausage was cooked perfectly. I got raisin toast. Very hardy breakfast and good portion of food. This is a great spot free parking and plenty of seating inside at bar or Resturant area. Will be back again to try other selections on menu.

When I go I always get the traditional Irish Breakfast, and they serve breakfast till 4pm.
There lunch menu has a good variety. My buddy got the Ruben with fries he said it was delicious. The fries are steak cut.
There is a bar at the front of the building and table and booths in the restaurant area.

We googled this place before and was very happy with our meals last time. And we were just as happy this time. The staff is awesome!

Every time I eat here I have an excellent time. Service is fantastic and so it the food. I recommend the Irish breakfast.

First off the atmosphere was amazing. Very clean and friendly place. The food though 🤤🤤 even better. I got the hungry man and it was enough to feed me three times. Everything was spot on and so delicious. Our server Dee was amazing and super friendly. I'll be back again

New review. The restaurant has moved, is totally new and has a revised menu. We had dinner, and it was all wonderful! We shared the world's best potato pancakes, served with a sneak up on you spicy cream sauce. I had a truly fabulous Yankee pot roast, served with mashed potatoes and turnips. My friend had a cheeseburger that came with these crazy looking, curved, thick potato wedges. All quite delicious. We split a house made ice cream pie. Also just great. The prices were great and so was the service. Plenty of parking. Will absolutely return. What a fabulous change!

They make you wait outside for your table. Fine in good weather, but this is New England. Narrows the times I would eat here considerably. I also really dislike bathrooms that are in the kitchen. The breakfast potatoes were very spicy; too spicy for a normal diner, okay if that's what you want. My requested eggs over easy came out hard. Toast was cold. My mother loved her corn chowder.

Wow! First time here, and it was awesome! Pot Roast for breakfast, ha! So tender and the flavor was perfect! It came with 2 eggs ,toast and home fries. Just $14.! Super clean and very wide spaces between tables, so wheel chair accessible if you're looking for a place. I will dine there again! Worthy of all these exclamation points ‼

There was a small wait due to Covid-19 restrictions. There was handsanitzer right inside the door to clean hands and masks worn by everyone. The waitstaff was personable, friendly, informative of the menu. Prices very fair. Waitstaff Kept water and coffee flowing~~

After following The Mad Hatter on Facebook for a while, we finally made our way to eat here! It was much bigger than I expected based on the street view, and there was plenty of room. The portions were generous, and I enjoyed my shepherd’s pie! The soda bread was also delicious. They had so many cocktail options, and we loved the Irish band that was playing in the bar area. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful, spacious new location, although parking is a bit tight. Authentic Irish breakfast with thick soda bread like I had in Ireland. French toast smelled scrumptious and was thick and well seasoned with cinnamon. Service was quick, authentic, and friendly. Live acoustic music on special occasions adds an extra layer of ambiance.

Very large servings of homestyle food -- I had the turkey dinner, which was tasty. My dining partner had the shepherd's pie which they also enjoyed. The venue is quite large with a function hall set off within. The waitress was friendly and efficient.

I had the buffet, a friend took me here. Omg the food and service was great. Best Buffet I've ever been too, they had everything prime rib, eggs, fruit, pancakes, shrimp cocktail, I could go on . It was amazing.

Some of the best Irish diner food you will have in the Boston area. Small dining area but space opens quick and friendly and engaging waitresses. One of my favorite spots to eat

This is my first time visiting their new location on Washington Street. They are VERY busy, as they have always been, for Saturday brunch. Although their new decor has lost some of its homey charm, the service is still friendly. Food is still delicious- creative spins on your average breakfast offerings. This time I tried the crispy French toast- which was regular French toast encased in Frosted Flakes. Delicious. ❤ Thanks, Mad Hatter’s! Now I just need to come back for dinner....

Excellent Cubano sandwich! Good bloody Mary's as well. The Irish bartender was great

Irish breakfast is a must , great portion & pricing extremely fair. Definitely returning again when back in the area.

Wow! What a great find! The food is amazing, they put their own twist into every dish! Definitely recommend this place for date night, brunch, girls night out, or a place to take your family! Check this place out!!!
