Nice cozy cafe for breakfast. I think they close after 2 pm or something, so just a breakfast cafe.
They have self-service coffee, so you pay for one and then you can refill it for free. I did not refill mine because one was enough, but our server said that we had unlimited free coffee refill. Double check that when you go there 😉
I recommend this place a 100%

Solid Breakfast Spot. Ordered the special, filet and eggs, usually get the breakfast sandwich with a side of sweet potatoes homefries (highly recommend). Friendly staff and food was surprisingly fast. They can get busy at peak times, but no complaints today. Nice outdoor seating options as well. Would recommend

Pleasantly surprised with my visit to Craig's Cafe. The breakfast burrito was delicious and a great balance of ingredients. I especially enjoyed the self-serve coffee bar. No waiting for a cup of joe from the start. There are a lot of breakfast spots in quincy, but Craig's is set apart by its modern, cozy atmosphere. This is now my go-to place.

I was in the area and hungry and found this place on a quick search of Google Maps. It was the closest and I really needed some food and coffee, so I decided to just go for it.

Glad I did. This place is a gem!

First, they offer a coffee station up front with 8 different flavors. It’s a serve yourself kind of thing, so when you need a refill just go. The s’mores flavor is hands down the best. Such a unique blend.

Food came out super fast. I ordered the California Benedict which was exactly what I wanted. (No tomato on mine, by choice). The home fries were tasty and hot, without being overly crispy or salty.

The prices on the menu as well were amazingly good, making this place a great deal. Most dishes are $8.99 and under, so I was pleasantly surprised when my coffee and Benedict came out to $11.98 total before tip.

Definitely coming back! And bringing all my friends.

The second time my husband and I visited Craig's Cafe with the family.

My husband had the Fiesta Sandwich - Bacon, egg and cheddar cheese on a Rosemary Focaccia roll with chipotle aioli, red onion and green pepper. ($4.99)

My son and youngest daughter had the Number 1 Breakfast Plate -
Two eggs any style, bacon, home fries and a pancakes. ($7.50)

My oldest daughter and I had - Talk of the Town
Scrambled egg, cheese and home fries with a choice with bacon, all scrambled together and topped with American cheese served on a Portuguese sweet roll. ($4.99)

Every item we had was delicious.

The pancakes are homemade delicious - not the typical pancakes you'd get at a IHOP.

When you enter Craig's Cafe, you are greeted and made to feel welcome.

You pour your cup of coffee from the large coffee pumps - with 8 kinds to choose from. If the coffee's not hot enough, ask to have it heated up in the microwave. The coffee is priced less than the other restaurants around.

The kids loved the fresh squeezed orange juice.

Prices on food items are also reasonable.

The menu is varied and creative. Something for everyone.

This Cafe at 1354 Hancock St. is ideally located near both the Adams National Parks office at 1250 Hancock St. and the Church of the Presidents. Hancock Street can be confusing, so when you face the church, look to the right and cross at the pedestrian crosswalk. The restaurant is right there.

The servers are excellent - on top of everything, polite, and easy to chat with. The food was delicious!! Highly recommend anything with the buffalo aioli!

Visiting from out of town and my cousin recommended Craig’s. I had “the talk of the town” very yummy. Service was great and timely.

After reading some of the reviews about slow service, I decided to time our entire experience. We arrived at 09:46am, and were seated immediately (there were 2 open tables at the time). I take a bit longer when looking over the menu, because I try not to rely on the normal "go-to" items, and like to try new things, so wanted to explore all options, having never visited this place before (we were visiting from Ireland). We spent 7 minutes before ordering our food. After helping ourselves to the self-serve coffee (in various flavors!), our food showed up at exactly 10:06am. Nothing was undercooked or overcooked, it all came out exactly as expected. That's 20 minutes total from the time we arrived, placing our order, and receiving our food. Often times when people complain about long wait times, they don't consider the chatting they do with their group, or scrolling through social media, before even looking at the menu and wasting more of the server's time. Next time you see reviews about long wait times, consider all of the variables. I even had a chat with the owner about some of the negative reviews I've previously seen. Yes, the global COVID pandemic hit everyone, so of course there will be some staff shortages everywhere, so bear that in mind if complaining about being understaffed (but was assured that more staff will be brough in soon). In fact, despite being only 1 cook that day, and an eventually full restaurant and half the bar stools taken, everyone's food was brought out in the same amount of time as ours, from what we encountered. Our variables, for consideration: 2 adults, one of which is a picky eater, went about an hour before they closed for breakfast; food order was "The Scrambler" and "Breakfast Burrito" with bottomless coffees (self-served). We had breakfast in a few other places on this trip (Alaska, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts), and they all had "home fries" done differently. Craig's Cafe was by far the best version of home fries we had. They were not a re-heated version of Ore-Ida diced potato bites like we had in most places; Craig's were actual potatoes, cut and fried by hand; delicious! Definitely worth another visit when in Quincy next.

LOVED the vibe of this place and the food! My sister and I were visiting in town and stopped at a couple different local places and this was one of my favorites! I had the breakfast burrito and it was AMAZING! Exceded my expectations! Will definitely come back here if I’m ever back in town.

Writing this on location after my meal. Great little cafe! Breakfast menu looked good but was switching as I came in to lunch. Got a delicious chicken wrap and bottomless coffee and vibes out to their great taste in music. I'm a service-hound too and they didn't disappoint! A couple, friendly twenty-something guys that were super friendly as they kept moving!

Been going here for many years. Still one of if not the best breakfast joints on the South Shore. Definitely a very casual place, and the prices are reasonable. Really good skillet-style breakfasts and bottomless coffees in a variety of great flavors.

Our first trip for brunch but it quickly became a favorite! Loved the corn beef hash and there was something special about those pancakes even if it is a simple staple menu item. The different types of fresh breads for the sandwiches and toasts are a win also.

Came in for brunch at around 10:30 on a Saturday. Coffee is self serve and bottomless which is nice. We had two of the specials both of which were very good. The fresh squeezed orange juice is also a must! Service was very slow but there was only one woman working as hostess and waitress for the whole restaurant so I assume someone called out sick and this is not the norm... Will come back again to see if the restaurant is actually staffed correctly
