Talk about hospitality, dbar was so wonderful. Rob was amazing, he got us seated in the beautiful outdoor patio and proceeded to drag over 3 heaters to make sure we were warm and comfortable. Since the the server inside was slammed he took our orders and was our server. His suggestions were delicious and on point. Despite the freezing weather and his tshirt, he checked on us frequently and made sure we were cozy.

We had the "grow a pear", "spicy orange margarita" and sangria and they were absolutely delicious drinks. Not too sweet and perfectly spiced. I'm very picky about my cocktails especially about the sweetness. These were delicately balanced and had a lovely heat that was perfect for the chilly weather outside.

The apps: burrata, mussels and calamari. Very good! The mains: chicken enchiladas and steak were excellently cooked. Beautiful.

I don't usually leave reviews. But if the service and product are more than praiseworthy, they deserve recognition.

Been coming here for 15 years and so glad they made it through the last few years. Neighborhood favorite and we even had our wedding dinner here years ago. BUT, if a customer wants aioli, just make it. Third time we have asked for a side of it and were told we don't have it. Chefs, it's mayo and spice, which make all the fries nice.
UPDATE: aioli is back on and it was delish!

New year's eve was so special there. Not a lot of people, no cover, great music and vibes.

Loved the outdoor seating!!! Cool vibe and plenty of heating lamps. Light over table is also a heater. Food, wine and service were amazing. Oh, it was 32 degrees that night!

I love everything! The fellow patrons, the bartenders, the karaoke host, the food, the drinks, the setting, yes I mean everything! I've been here more than a few times and it has been a great experience EVERY time. On a less crowded weeknight, its quaint and the food is delicious! I cant say enough good things about this place!!

Go for the show tunes on Tuesday night starting at 9 ... show up after 8 ... order drinks, appetizers and dinner until 10 ... show tunes start at 9 and you can make requests. Stay for show tunes, music and videos until closing. A great night out!

I went to their Sicilian wine dinner which was so well done. The food was amazing as were the wine pairings. The staff was so fun and friendly.

What a great place in Dorchester!

Food was really good and they were really attentive about my gluten allergy.

Pros:
- Food was very good.. I got the chicken under a brick and it was super moist and yummy. My daughter really enjoyed her salmon.
- Full bar (we only had wine this night but all the drinks looked yummy)
- Service was awesome!! Our waitress was super nice and personable. But also everyone else was pleasant.
- parking!! In Dorchester!!! Like a real parking lot. Also plenty of street parking.

Love love love this spot. The Cocktails are great. The food is amazing love the calamari. The staff is very friendly and always there when you need them. I am so glad this place is just down the street from my house. They have set up a huge outdoor seating area that I hope is there to stay even after covid is done. It is so nice out there all year round.

We strolled through the throngs of people attending Little Saigon's inaugural Night Market, quickly seeing that the lines for food were too long for us. We kept on down Dot. Ave. to dbar, which we always enjoy. They were not expecting to be slammed with Night Market overflow, but the service and food were as good as ever.

Small and can easily go unnoticed. But being owned by the same people as Deuxave and Boston Chops, the food is easily of the same caliber as the best restaurants in Boston. Try some of their signature cocktails and anything on the menu really. The staff is friendly and hospitable. And the nightlife when they put away the tables is unique and always a good time.

Fantastic drinks. Great food. I'm partial to the chicken under a brick but that is only one of many delicacies and comfort foods to enjoy here. Sick a wonderful option in the midst of Dorchester, and a great way to meet slightly South of the city, proper, to be more conveniently close to the South shore and 93 depending upon where you are coming from or need to go after dinner.

Delicious food with a menu that’s always changing. Especially love the chefs burger which is always different but each time tastes rich and decadent. Cocktail menu is large and reasonable in the $10-$12 range. Full on a Friday but still able to get a table day of. Definitely recommend for Dorchester

Loved the karaoke. Had good staff and drinks.

The food here is excellent and the service even better, but maybe there best part of dbar is is cocktails. It is far and away the best place in Dorchester for a well crafted drink.

The inside is dimly lit all the time, good for a date, but weird for brunch, but there's a bright garden patio in the back that most people don't know about unless they've been in.

Excellent food, good service. Highly recommended to eat outside in the terrasse !

Super welcoming staff. Made a huge effort to learn everyone’s name in our party. Drinks and food were wonderful.
