Great place to stay. We had good time here. We travelled with our toddler & we reuested the host to keep the place extra clean. They did! Our toddler was exploring the place here!

They have a nice wooden steps to the little river that flows just behind this place.

This is the 2nd time we’ve been there and I’m sure we’ll be back. This is a great house, very cool river in the back of the house. Wally’s home is private, quiet and relaxing area. He was a great host, very responsive and accommodating!

Fresh remodel in the main house looks great. Looks brighter and clean. Awesome location for skiing, both Cannon Mountain and Bretton Woods are close by. Also a great location close to Twin Mountains snowmobile trails. Not to forget. I would like to mention the host Wally is nice and easy to get along with.

I lived in this house with my husband and father in-law prior to the new owners. I am so happy there are so many people enjoying what we loved about this beautiful oasis. The view is spectacular, there is just so much to enjoy there. I miss it so much. My father in-law is still close by though. He can't stay away. :-) Congratulations and best of luck.

After spending a few days at this beautiful home I can confidently say I will be coming back for a second, third, fourth, etc. time! Twin Mountain River House was everything and more that was promised by the hosts. Spacious living and sleeping quarters makes it easy for smaller and larger groups to vacation comfortably without having to worry about being on top of one another. Upon arrival one of the most prominent things I noticed was the cleanliness of the place. Furniture, bedrooms and bathrooms were all that of 5 star hotel cleanliness. Being a bit of a neat freak myself I felt right at home! Additionally, this gorgeous abode has something for everyone. Majestic, photogenic grounds, a fire pit, an outdoor dining area, the breathtakingly refreshing river and even a game room for group/family activities. If you’re on the fence of whether or not to book, I highly suggest you hop on over to the other side to Twin Mountain River House ASAP! Thanks again to the wonderful hosts for providing the perfect getaway! I definitely plan on being back again soon!

This place is absolutely beautiful and the hosts are amazing! Beautiful and remodeled place with spacious rooms, huge backyard and front yard and the river on the back! The house has everything you will ever need and so much activities for hiking or visiting lakes near by. The hosts are two of the nicest people you will ever meet and they will do everything to make you feel welcomed or address any questions you may have!!!! Highly recommend!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beautiful, spacious house in a heart of nature. Me and my friends have an amazing time! Was an unforgettable experience and vacation. The highlight of this house was the river with a clean water where we also swim and the incredible sunset. Definitely I will go back soon I have a chance. . ❤❤❤

Just returned from my second time staying at the Twin Mountain House for a summer retreat in New Hampshire. This is probably one of the best residential accommodations if not *the* best one in the area if you are visiting the White Mountain region. The lodging is quite spacious and is actually comprised of a main house and an adjacent guest house with its own living area, kitchen, and two bathrooms. All of the quarters are clean, beautifully appointed, and quite roomy. If you are planning to bring ski equipment or the like, there is ample storage room in several areas of the main house and guest house. Also, do not stress over the spotty phone signal in this area, as strong wifi is present everywhere on the estate and will definitely have you covered.

The property itself is situated on a picturesque section of Little River, where we ended up spending a great deal of our time during our stay. A huge birch tree that had fallen across the span of the river serves as a scenic "sitting/hanging" area to dip your toes in and soak up the summer rays. This spring water is crystal clear and refreshing on the hot days we stayed. One of my favorite features in this area is the long stretch of steps descending from the back yard. There is a little deck on either side where you can relax and enjoy your morning coffee or do some yoga while looking over the river

Do not forget to check out the *other* lovely chill-out spot: the cute gazebo out front! Both the front and back yard are quite large, and there is even a barn and pasture on the other side of the driveway, opposite of the gazebo. The first time I stayed, it felt like the property never ended and there was always something to see! And yes, there is indeed picnic tables, a grill, a fire pit, and even a hot tub in the back for those cooler summer and fall evenings.

In addition to being close to the ski resorts and ziplining, Echo Lake is only about a 10 minute drive away, and is an ideal destination for a long summer day here. (think ice cream, grills, and paddle boats...all nestled amongst towering green mountains!)

If you are looking for a cleaner, roomier accommodation for your stay in Carroll, but with modern amenities, I can not recommend the Twin Mountain House enough! It's the optimal getaway for every season in NE.

This beautiful home is theb ultimate gratifying experience for someone like myself who was looking for an escape from city life. It is so peaceful, Zen-ful. I loved the interesting conversation pieces throughout the house that incorporate nature and the culture of New Hampshire itself! I also appreciated the shallow stream/river right along the border with the back yard. My friends and I took regular dips in it! I've had some amazing mediation sessions sitting on the deck while listening to the sound of the stream. The backyard is gorgeous and the basement has a beautiful foosball and pool table. I can't wait to go back!!!

This house was perfect for our group of seven adults. Plenty of room and plenty of supplies. The best stocked linen closet of all fifteen vacation rentals we stayed in. The kitchen was well stocked with nice dishes and cookware. The two big tables were great, one for dining and one for games etc. The house was very well decorated and has a great floor plan. We loved the screened in porch for morning coffee and could use the sun porch if it was too cold. And WOW the stairs down to the beautiful creek were great, including the benches. Although we were there mainly for hiking, the house was a nice place to hunker down on rainy days. The only reason I give four stars instead of five is that the stove and oven were not clean. Minor issue. We would love to go back and stay here while exploring more of this beautiful area.
