Shauna L. Gauthier DMD Oral Surgery of New England & Dental Implant Center

I went to their Plymouth office recently for a tooth extraction. Shauna Gauthier and her assistant were fantastic. Her assistant was extremely sweet and gentle, and calmed all of my nerves. The extraction was surprisingly quick, and it’s healing great. I would recommend this team to anyone needing dental surgery/extraction. 🙂

Dr Gauthier is very professional and her assistant Wendy was also very knowledgeable, helpful and genuinely nice. I am very appreciative of the care that was given to my son for his wisdom teeth extraction.

I was pleasantly surprised I only had to wait 2 weeks for an appointment for a tooth extraction in the Plymouth office. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I would go there again and recommend that others should as well.

Really wish I could leave zero stars, the front desk need a real attitude adjustment. I had a few teeth pulled and was super nervous about it. The doctor calmed my nerves and I appreciated the effort but once I woke up from sedation she snapped at me and yelled at me saying that I should have been honest about certain meds I may regularly, even tho I don't take any meds daily or on a regular basis and haven't in some time. I couldn't event talk and was still a little out of it and yet your yelling at me? I couldn't respond or talk, I was shocked how she spoke to me. I spent close 500 bucks to get a attitude from the " ladies " at the front desk and a doctor who didn't bother to read the many pages of paper work I had to fill out before the surgery. Every interaction with the "team" / office was a annoyance filled with attitude from them. I'm so happy the surgery is done. I would never go there again.

I am completely in shock in how this specific Dr. still holds a license after her clear violations of her code of ethics, and violating patient rights. After my encounters with her, i was able to research the NH Board of Dental Examiners, and my rights as a patient. With both things being violated, i would strongly urge everyone to seek dental care elsewhere. My job is to advocate against injustices, and I’m sure she knows, what was done especially yesterday, was wrong on so many professional and ethical levels. Will not be returning.

My 7 year old was scheduled for a 11:30 appointment where he would be put under anesthesia. At 12:15 I still hadn’t been talked to or told anything. I go ask the receptionist since it’s now 45 minutes after the scheduled appointment. I’m informed that my child still won’t be taken back for another hour!! This is ridiculous and unprofessional!! My child hasn’t eaten or drank anything since the night before. I start to tell my friends what is happening and I’m hearing this is normal for this office. Terrible! We will be changing dentists!
