Aug 2023 Update!
Everything is still excellent! Having come here regularly with friends and family over the years, this is our go to Thai restaurant where they always go above and beyond to make it a special experience.

Excellent customer service and outstanding food. We ordered the Pad Thai dishes and BYOB'd and couldn't have been happier.

Decent Ambience but the quality of the food is good. Little expensive because of inflation but quality is justified. We ordered
steamed chicken dumplings- they are good
Lettuce wraps- chicken ground meat is well seasoned and tasty but the lettuce given was not enough and given lettuce is also not layered properly. Taste is good along with the peanut sauce on the side
Chicken Satay- this is best, little sweet but its crispy and deep fried to its best
Drinks- u can skip them not special
Fried rice chicken with basil and chicken with pine apple both are decent
Pad thai is crazy good.
Panang curry and dumping noodles are okay.
Fried ice cream is okay
Mango sticky rice is bad.. not that tasty
Overall, good thai place in your own neighborhood.. definetely worth the try

I didn't know what to expect. The menu was not easy to read, as this wasn't very traditional Thai type menu as others.

BUT - I was welcomed. We got a free Hot & Sour soup with fresh mushrooms (I didn't know what types but not typical ones you see).

Took a chance with Toasted Basil w/ Chicken.
And the Farmers Market.

IMPRESSIVE! Flavors are great!

This is so much better to see more unique dishes than typical Thai menus we normally see.

Sadly i ate too fast to take a photo

UPDATE JUNE 2023;

This is the first time we dined in; previously, we only had a take-out from Rhong Tiam about three years ago, at the beginning of the pandemics.
Great experience! Friendly, efficient, and polite service (the servers prefer tips in cash, so don't forget to bring it).
Amazing food. Nice pricing. All ducks are offered for $20.99, whereas the relatively neighboring Thai Ginger in Robbinsville/Hamilton, the same dishes are leaning towars $30.
Nice and inviting interior with many pleasing wood accents.
The place is BYOB, but there is a liquor store next door, The Wine Valley.
5 stars experience!

Even though we haven't dined inside the restaurant, we have been using their takeout services many times. The food is consistently good, the menu choices are sufficient, the preparation is fine, and the prices are more or less budget-friendly. We would specifically like to mention the restaurant's Spicy Beef Salad, Rhong-Tiam Dumplings (steamed or pan-fried, with chicken, shrimp, and cabbage, served with homemade ginger vinaigrette), and Grilled Duck Curry (charcoal grilled duck, bell peppers, eggplant, pineapples, tomatoes, bamboo shoots and basil in homemade red curry).
The menu also offers several soup choices and various fried rice and noodle dishes, as well as different curries, chicken, beef, and seafood dishes.
The dining area is quite spacious and the service friendly and efficient.
Last but not least important is the fact that Rhong Tiam is basically the only one dedicated Thai restaurant in the area, after the Thai restaurant located in Hamilton, in Foxmoor Shopping Center went out of business several years ago.

My husband and I love Rhong-Tiam! We used to live nearby and came at least once a week. We moved away and we drive a half hour to come back. My favorite is the Pad See Lew and my husband loves the Pad Thai.

Very good thai food that also is spicy like it should be. Many places you visit do not really spice their food properly and this place does. Very quick service friendly and an extensive menu.

This place is amazing. The dumplings and Thai shumai were top notch and fresh. The Tom yum soup has a nice spice to it. The pad Kee mao was the most flavorful my wife and I have ever had in our 50+ years.i had the Thai chili chicken ordered extra spicy was amazing, the spicy level was high for me, just as I like it. We will definitely be back....often

Ordered the Drunken Noodles w/ beef (Pak Kee Mao) and Basil Fried Rice w/ shrimp for lunch and I must say both dishes were delicious. I would give their Drunken Noodles a 10/10. Make sure you ask for spicy 🌶! I enjoyed every bite and it was an authentic taste. So far the best drunken noodles I’ve had in central jersey. The basil fried rice was tasty but could of had more shrimp because it I ordered it from the regular menu and not from the lunch menu so it was more expensive.

This is such an amazing little hidden gem. The food is always cooked to perfection. We had the Thai croquettes and they were perfectly fried, the Thai iced tea was flavorful and sweet, the roti canai is always a favorite appetizer of ours, and the mango sticky rice is great. I’ve had a lot of other dishes from this place and they always hit the spot no matter what you get. Service is fast and efficient, and food is amazing and priced right.

I've been coming here for over a year and a half and have always been a satisfied customer! Their Thai food is delicious, definitely one of the best in the area. It's so easy to order online and pick it up. They took so many covid precautions that I always felt safe going up to the door. Their lunch portions are reasonably priced and very filling. And we notified them about an allergy one of our dinner guests had, as part of a huge order, and that person's meal was totally fine!

Ordered takeout from this place recently, and I was very impressed. Service was prompt, food was reasonably priced, and pad kee mao was very tasty. I'll certainly be back here - much better than most of the other Thai spots in the Princeton area, which are incredibly overpriced and not that good.

Our first time getting take out from here and we loved it! Food was hot, fresh, ready exactly on time, and absolutely delicious. The pad kee mao was excellent and the mango sticky rice was a great sweet treat. We’ll be back for sure!

Excellent Thai Food!! Their Specialties/Signature Dishes are the best ones to try out for first time guests. Their dishes never compromise on the amount of veggies that are served. The veggies served are fresh and crunchy. It remains a favorite restaurant for us as a family and my daughter loves this place. We were so delighted that they were open for the Dine- in service. The staff are friendly and very co-operative to help you in case you have any doubts or preferences.

Absolutely wonderful place! I've come here for lunch and for dinner many times. I've had takeout and also dine in. Personal favorite is the crispy basil chicken.

If you can get there at lunch time, even better, since the lunch menu prices are great, and they serve a really amazing vegetable soup with the meal. I often ask for extra soup, it's amazing and I haven't found anything like it anywhere else.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. I always recommend this place to friends, coworkers, and anyone visiting the area.

My husband already gave a rave review, but it bears repeating. It was the most flavorful Thai food I've had in my life and I've had a lot of Thai food!

I also want to add that our server was extremely sweet, personable and attentive.

We will definitely be back. We have a tradition of going for Thai on my birthday. I know where we are going next year and the years after. My birthday is in March so of course there is no way I can wait to go back until THEN lol! We live over 30 minutes away, but we will be back before then, hopefully MANY more times!

It is really the best Thai restaurant in the area. Can get very crowded and busy at lunch. The chef must've changed because when we went the other day, the dishes seemed different? Not sure about that one but everything was good! Generous portions, too! We had to take some food home, which was great. Happy that it exists. I hope more people come to the restaurant in the evening as it seems to be crowded for lunch but not as mobbed for dinner. I also would suggest changing the menu occasionally, ( I've been going for almost a decade and still the same dishes) but people have their favorites and perhaps might complain? I know I do!

Have been here twice now, once I dined in restaurant and once I ordered pickup. Both times were very positive experiences. Had the green curry and it was the spiciest curry I've ever had! (I've had a lot of curry from a lot of Thai restaurants.) I made my dinners vegan and had the veggie spring rolls. Everything was very good! The restaurant was also very clean and the staff was friendly. I'll be coming here many times.

I usually order from here once a week. The quality of the food and level of service are always high. I try a new dish every once in a while and their standards are consistently good. The convenient location and amenable hours help too.
