Went with horrible abdominal pain they saw me right away. Everyone was so nice. Had the best nurse. Thank you John Kitchens! You really helped calm my nerves. Doctor was great too.

Had brain surgery, care was good. Need more staff. Food could improve. Surgeon was top notch
She wad very caring and kept my family informed of what was going on. Dr. Biswas. Need to hire more patient staff. Nursescarecrun ragged

I just had surgery and I have to say from presurgical to me being dismissed shortly,Tonya in registration, to my preop nurse,to Kathleen on the surgical team,and Jackie and aileen and dawn my post op nurses took very good care of me for my stay at midhudson Regional,thankyou Dr verhost for skill and care in restoring my health,they all are an asset to your team

We unexpectedly had a three day stay with our infant in the pediatric wing and I cannot say enough positive things about every single staff member we came into contact with. Each one of our nurses were absolutely incredible. We were incredibly lucky to have our baby in their care.

The pediatric wing is brand new and not run down like the rest of the hospital which was amazing!

The Emergency waiting room was disgusting and scary to be honest. It reeked like marijuana and there was a crack head laying across three chairs. There was also a man getting escorted out by security screaming, video taping it on his cell phone. I would have felt a lot safer with more security.

Also, the staff in the ER was incredible too, how ever they do not have any sort of bassinet. I was there for hours with my three month old, I was falling asleep with my baby in my arms on the bed. I asked many times for a bassinet because I didn’t feel safe bedsharing being so exhausted and my baby being so sick. They didn’t have anything to offer me. For safely purposes this should be available.

Brought my mother to the ER today. We had a very positive experience. She was diagnosed treated and discharged in three hours. The staff was very knowledgeable, empathetic, and friendly. I was very impressed with MidHudson regional hospital.
Three months ago we had a terrible experience at Vassar ER. We were there for 13 hours. I guess don’t judge a book by its cover.

Had a total hip replacement there this past week and am absolutely BLOWN away by the level of care and dedication of the Same Day Surgery Nurses, staff and physicians. While the hospital is older and not as "flashy" as some of those in the area (although WMC has begun construction on improvements & is dedicated to bringing modernity) what is truly important are the PEOPLE taking care of you- and they are superb. I would not hesitate in the least to recommend the hospital for a same day surgery procedure.

My stay at Mid-Hudson Regional for 4 days was exceptional. From the ER nurses to the floor nurses Aileen RN on the 6th floor and Dr.Khan who took his time explain things to me in a kind and compassionate way. For me and my house I will say take me to Regional. Thank you to all of the staff for making my experience at Mid Hudson Regional exceptional

My son was brought in to the ER for a dislocated shoulder. The doctor and nurses were great. They informed us of all procedures and did everything to make my son comfortable. We were allowed to stay with him in the ER room and once everything was done the discharging process was easy and simple. Thank you.

If I could give Dr. Vikas Patel and Dr. Joseph Fulton 10+ stars, I would. It was 3 weeks ago today that they saved my mothers life. She was sent via ambulance from an urgent care facility to Mid Hudson Regional w/some visual symptoms and elevated BP. After CT testing showed multiple small strokes, Dr. Patel was called in. He ordered other diagnostic imaging tests which showed almost complete obstruction of the RCA and a thrombus sitting in the carotid bifurcation. He explained the severity and urgency of the situation in a calm, reassuring, professional, personable manner. He then, contacted Dr. Fulton, who came in almost immediately. Dr. Fulton then, assessed and also explained the situation and urgency of surgery (an emergent Thrombo Carotid Endarterectomy) in the same calm, reassuring, professional and personable manner as Dr. Patel did. So, she was in the OR and out within one day.
Thanks to the collaboration, intellect, expertise and decisiveness of these two incredible surgeons, she had a very successful surgery, she was released is doing extremely well.
I cannot recommend Dr. Fulton and Dr. Patel highly enough. We were beyond fortunate that they were there not only that day, but right up until and after discharge. Always checking on her, always making sure her care level was optimum and they were both ALWAYS available to speak w/and reassure us. We in this area are fortunate to have access to two of the very best, competent, qualified, knowledgeable surgeons right here.

My son was admitted into ICU after a mx crash. He had surgery on both legs. He was closely monitored the entire time by knowledgeable staff. The care he received was excellent, and we are happy to have him home. Thank you, MidHudson Regional.

These people are the Best people I have ever met! I know I am only the patient but if it wasn't for them....I may not have another day on this beautiful Planet. They have given me strength to believe in myself and Humanity.
I know this is only just the beginning -

There has NEVER been a 4,5 or 6 hour waiting period in triage! People just lying and embellished their experience’s, ERs are overwhelmed with minor issues that people should go to urgent care for just because it says Emergency Room doesn’t mean everyone and everything is a emergency!!! Don’t come in the emergency room for a refill on birth control! People are NEVER left in triage with chest pain, NEVER so that’s a lie, people do use it as a complaint to get in first when they don’t really have chest pain! It’s a good hospital with good staffing great Nurses, techs, caring doctors and physicians. It’s a hard scary time for everyone I understand that but overall it’s a great hospital

I had to come in by ambulance on Monday. The whole family was hit by the flu. This flu hit out of no where. I could not take care of myself so emergency was my last resort. I am so glad I went in, because the IV with fever reducer and pain reducer made me able to get through it. I am so grateful for the nurses and staff. Thank you.

What a wonderful experience today. Got an early start with Dr.David Stamer (best surgeon ever) and the awesome surgical team. Shout out to Lolita, Selena, Dolores, Erin, Rebecca, Roberto, StaciAnn, Susan Jean, Gayle (PT) and everyone else in pre & post op for the warm care. And, a special Thanks to Yasem, the anesthesiologist for following my no narcotics please request. This is the A Team for sure. Best surgery ever, that didn’t end with a baby in my arms.

I had no idea this hospital was here but it's been pleasant . Even hearing the conversations between the Dr and nurses is caring. Not just a number

Sixth floor nurse, Lindsey, out of all the nurses we encountered, went above and beyond. She ran and was there every time! They are understaffed as is every hospital. But with Lindsey and her compassion, she made it seem we were the only patients she had. And we know that wasn’t true.

My son hurt his arm while falling off the monkey bars. Went to the E.R. because he was in so much pain. We were treated very nicely by the staff, brought in toato child room, and probable spent 2.5hrs there total. The provider was so kind and gentle with my son. She ordered an x-ray at bedside avoiding more discomfort. He broke his arm and the provider gentle applied a cast. Everyone was great.

After spending 2 hours of pain waiting in Vassar Hospital ER we came to Mid-Hudson Regional and in about 2 mins of being there I was taken to a room. 5 minutes of being in the room the doctor came examined me and gave me the necessary treatments to cure my swollen lip. I was in and out in about 30 minutes with my prescriptions ready to be picked up at my pharmacy the next day. One of the best cares I have ever received.

- Wonderful practioners offer services such as MRI's, X-Rays, testing of blood and Physical therapy. Facility is aging and needs much maintainence work. Depreciated as former St Francis hospital. but is recovering. Like all hospitals it is short of personal. I was a patient here under it's previous ownership of St Francis 6 years ago. At that time I was treated well. Now use it's facilities to visit physicians

I am always treated with respect at this hospital. I won't go anywhere else
