The food was so good here. Very very tasty. I enjoyed all of the dishes that I tried and my personal dish. The drinks were will made. Staff were friendly. The only downside to this place was that it was quite loud. They could really benefit from some foam under the tables. But that is it.

The new owner's have taken the space and transformed it into their own. Gone are the dark walls and many owls. The light grey brightens the place up and makes you feel at home especially if you sit in the lounge in front of the fireplace with a cocktail, or glass of wine. They use locally sourced ingredients and put so much dedication and love into the food. Service is great always trying to make sure everyone has what they need and want. This is exactly what pine bush needed.

What a great new(ish) local spot in the Hudson Valley! What used to be the Hoot Owl is now One With Land. We ordered a BUNCH of appetizers & for the main course I ordered the burger. Very delicious.. all the food was thoughtfully curated & plated. Husband & wife owners & they were lovely to chat with. Definitely will be back many times. See photos for vibe & presentation of their crispy brussels sprout & beet salad (YUMMM!).

LOVE!!! So glad I live around the corner from this gem! To be honest, I was sad when Hoot Owl was no more but pleasantly surprised by One With Land. Delicious food and I especially loved when the chef came out to introduce himself to each guest. He even told us how he created what we ordered. He’s obviously passionate about the industry! Along with the lamb ribs, I had the delectable olive oil cake served with a side of figs. Being from a foodie city, it can be hard to find decent food in this area but man did they knocked it out of the park! Can’t wait to go back!

Wow. This is the place. The chef/owner is wonderful and the bartender/owner is so on-point. This place is better than most places in NYC.We will be dedicated regulars after our first mind-blowing experience today. SO GOOD!!!!! Also - excellent wine with fair price point. The oysters were rad and the lamb ribs BEYOND!

Friendly and attentive service. I was impressed that our hostess remembered us from our first visit last year and that I have dietary restrictions.
Once again the food was phenomenal. For appetizers we shared the Duck Fat Fried Dates with Labneh, lemon thyme and aged sherry vinegar, and the roasted beets with pistachio yogurt. Our entrees were the Steelhead trout with pea puree and mushrooms, and the Farroto with asparagus and topped with an over-easy duck egg.
Absolutely fabulous from start to finish!

Lovely family run restaurant in Shawangunk. We left our meal choice up to the chef Jared and he did not disappoint! Celery salad, mushroom pate, beets, burger, pork, rigatoni… each dish was better than we expected. What a wonderful experience! Can’t wait to go back to taste the rest of the menu.

Excellent addition to the hudson valley food scene. New owners who are so sweet opened up a couple of months ago. I got the chicken Milanese which was excellent and my husband got the most incredibly juicy perfectly cooked pork chop. Every detail from the service , decor and especially the food was top notch! We will be back!

I’m not sure a restaurant could have blown us away more. We walked in without much prior knowledge other than a quick pass-by and a google search.
It was, without a doubt, the best meal any of us have had in recent memory.
We sat at the bar after only a few minutes wait, the co-owner and bartender took care of us and struck up a great conversation. After an impossible set of choices, we ordered: potato croquettes, delicata squash, spiced lamb ribs, eggplant with burrata, dates with labneh, burger, and rigatoni and topped it off with a spicy margarita each.
Each and every dish was spectacular, fresh, well seasoned, and quite frankly perfect. We were enjoying it so much no one’s plate was safe from the neighborly vultures and we ate entirely family style.
Many hours later and still an errant comment of “best meal ever” “I could not be happier” “oh my god, those dates” pops up in conversations as we continue our wonderful weekend upstate.
Only 5 weeks since opening and this restaurant is firing on all cylinders. We can’t wait to return… again… and again… and again.

So delicious! The food and drinks were amazing. My family and I were visiting from Connecticut and my husband booked the wrong date by accident. The owner was so kind and made it work for our party of 5. We really appreciated the effort that was made to accommodate us. We know good food and from start to finish it was amazing. The atmosphere is very stylish and we had a great time. The next time we stay at Wildflower Auberge we will be back!!

One With Land is the type of restaurant that I have to hold myself back from going to every night. Every plate is artfully crafted, thoughtful, nourishing and supremely delicious. The servers and owners are warm and knowledgeable and care deeply about creating a space that everyone can feel comfortable in while enjoying all of the fantastic local veggies, fruits and meats that the Hudson Valley offers. At this point, I've sampled most of the menu and been blown away every time.

Highly recommend this lovely spot!
The food and service and setting were all amazing. Had a very special dinner with family and everything we ordered was delicious and beautifully prepared and presented. Also so fun and nice to see it packed on a rainy Thursday- love seeing my local faves doing well!!

We recently visited One With Land, where the service was impeccable, embodying the mission of the restaurant's commitment to community and responsible food sourcing. The chef used to work with many of the farmers in the area at a previous restaurant he worked with in Brooklyn, and the menu showcases the Hudson Valley region, with every dish made from the freshest locally sourced ingredients.
(Note that this restaurant was formerly known as The Hoot, we are so impressed with the transformation. Make sure to disregard older photos as the owners have beautifully revamped the interior themselves, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere).
The food itself was out of this world; one of the best restaurants in the area – comparable to Clay at Wildflower, Chloe, Silvia’s, Prospect, Foxfire, or The Pines. The cocktails - they were expertly crafted and complemented the meal perfectly. The chef/owner shows his face in the dining room often, and his wife, the other owner, on the floor and at the bar making the cocktails throughout the night.

We didn’t have anything bad - the food was exquisite. Service, however, left something to be desired. We waited over an hour for our main courses. The wait staff did let us know the kitchen was short staffed, but with only 12 tables in the whole place it still shouldn’t really have been an issue. Regardless we would absolutely come back again, 110% recommend.

What an amazing place. We came without a reservation at the suggestion of our innkeeper and had the most delicious meal. The staff was accommodating ( did I mention it was Hudson Valley restaurant week?) and warm. The appetizers, crispy brussel sprouts and mushroom crostini, were meals unto themselves. The pork chop was tender and flavorful with a jammy apricot covering. the pike was flaky and beautifully paired with crab salad and pickled mussels. And the dessert! Olive oil cake that beats Grandma's! Highly recommend!!

Everything about this restaurant was incredible. Each dish was better than the next. The duck fat fried dates in particular are a must get - truly out of this world. The service was also so attentive and everything felt like it had a very personal touch. We actually came an hour and a half just because we heard how amazing the restaurant was and it didn’t disappoint. We’ll definitely be making the trip again.

Foodies remember restaurants where the food is SO GOOD that you feel it in your whole body. This is one of those restaurants! It's the next day and I'm STILL shaking my head saying "Wow!"
My partner and I have been trying out higher end restaurants in the area for years with limited success and often saying "Well, we don't really need to go back to that one." What a really nice surprise! Dishes are clearly made with love and expertise, done very well, and mostly locally sourced as well. The place felt cozy and comfortable as well. Our group ended up getting mostly appetizers and splitting them - our own Tapas style veggie meal. When we tucked in, we were looking at each other a bit stunned with our first bites. The mushroom and ricotta crostinos were "stop you in your tracks" good. Other dishes were creative and delicious. Asparagus, farro, celery were some of the re-introductions prepared in ways we had not had them before, and made us consider them differently in a higher light. We ended up ordering some more bread just to make sure we got ALL available sauce in the bowls.
All in all... AMAZING! So happy to have found you, Jared and Tara! Looking forward to working our way through the menu.
... It's in a modest, quaint old house nestled in the woods near the Shawangunk ridgeline. The drive to the north toward New Paltz is very pretty BTW if you go there during daylight with some of the best views of the ridge.
Minor suggestions:
4) One or two more veggie/vegan/GF options would be nice. It helps those folk feel more excited to return when there is a modest rotation of options.
1) It was just a titch loud. Some creative sound reduction - just a bit - would be nice. I understand it's a whole thing in the biz to have some noise for customer comfort but not too much. If needed, music could fit that bill. (We were also there when it was busy, so that may be unavoidable at that point.)
2) Are you connected local farmers able to use prep leftovers and such to feed some of the animals?
3) We're hoping to talk with you about changing out the wall AC unit for a sleeker and more versatile heat pump on the wall. (Quieter, Cool AND heat as well)

This is the upgrade we didn't know we needed!!
The food was incredible, the staff was kind and attentive and the owner and his wife are super nice and came out to talk to everyone as their dishes came out to ensure everyone was happy with their choices! Not to mention, the place was packed!
Thee best Pork Chop i've ever had and the celery salad was unreal. You will not be disappointed. The chef is fantastic.
