Amazing food! Good service. A little pricey but the view is awesome!
Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere.
Nice covered and open patio area so you can enjoy the outside.
We stopped here after our walk across the Hudson River.
Also a nice little park right out front.
We will definitely stop by again if in the area.

Great service; delicious food; good beer; beautiful view of river, bridges, and sky - what’s not to like? Noticed this spot while walking across the bridge and decided to check it out. Glad we did! Charming spot on a warm summer evening.

Very Fussy about quality food and atmosphere and service and I was blown away with all three. The waiter Adam was vey attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. The Hudson River setting was beautiful and the food was perfect. The artichoke and spinach Empanadas were the best ever. Looking forward to returning soon.

We loved the food so much we went two days in a row! This will be a place we will visit weekly from now on! I recommend the mini fajita tostado, the lobster roll and empanadas and the tuna tostado! If you are looking for good food, drinks and a view, this is the PERFECT place!

Awesome view of the Hudson River (right on the waterfront). Even though the menu was a little small all of the food is delicious. I ordered the fish and chips and it was cooked to perfection and they were not skimpy on the portion sizes which was great! Will certainly go back!!

We were exploring in the area and found this on google maps as a pet friendly spot for a brew and good food. We sat on the patio right on the Hudson River. What a fantastic view! The hwy bridge, the old railroad bridge ( now a rails to trails walking bridge) and the surrounding landscape. Boats and watercraft on the river, the service was fast and friendly, we had a couple cold ones from the draft menu, and I had fish and chips, she had bacon cheeseburger, Bandit to a nap!! Was a great date night!!

We love it here. It is very laid back, and the food is always fresh. The building's history and architecture alone make it worth a trip. The patio on the waterfront is our favorite place to sit (it's also pet friendly). The ahi tuna is excellent, but they have great salads and wraps as well. We have been here dozens of times, and have always had excellent service. Keith is our favorite waiter- he's attentive but not pushy. If you are in a rush, he'll get you in and out, but if you want to hang out, you can sit there for as long as you would like. We love our little gem.

Beautiful food and river view. We lucked into this place while looking for a nice place for a business dinner in Poughkeepsie and this place did not disappoint. From the libations, appetizers and beautifully presented main courses. This place will not disappoint. We sat by a big window and watch the serene Hudson river flow on its way to New York City.

Absolutely GORGEOUS setting on the Hudson. We loved all the food we ordered, especially the hot and spicy shrimp! That was the star of the night. Very gracious servers and host! Would definitely recommend and go back again.

My family had a birthday party for me at this lovely restaurant this year. The renovation of this historic building is really beautiful, with the exposed brick, and many windows. We sat on the patio on the waters edge, and enjoyed delicious food and a warm breeze. The view is magnificent. I look forward to my next visit to the Ice House.

Wow! Three of us just had a phenomenal gourmet treat here. Ribs are incredible. Michael behind the bar was a great host. Great ambiance in a superb location. A must! Thanks!

I gave it five stars because 4 and 1/2 isn't available on this app. The food is really great and consistent and not overly priced for what you get. Nice place clean well-maintained with a decent mixed crowd. Michelle is an absolute Angel behind the bar.

My friend and I decided we would try out this restaurant for brunch on Sunday prior to our adventure of walking the Mid-Hudson walkway from the Poughkeepsie side. When we arrived, there was a packed restaurant (always a good sign) and seating for a private party in the bar area, so we took a seat at the bar. Our bartender, Bridget, was super friendly and made us awesome drinks ... a Bloody Mary and I had a Peach Bellini ... delicious! My friend ordered an egg breakfast and I had the Ice House Omelette (great choice). Our food and the presentation was top notch. We met the General Manager, Gunther, to commend him for running such a great ship or Ice House! I read about their seafood mac n cheese. Will be back to try the next time I'm in the area! What a gem we found!

Great food, awesome service! Had a portobello with roasted red pepper and goat cheese on arugula. Also a bacon cheeseburger no bun with lettuce tomato and red onion. and a kale salad had some sort of cheese and reduce balsamic. Super filling and delicious!
