Sherod Park

Great for viewing the sun setting over the lake or just relaxing to the view

We LOVE ❤ this park. It is well maintained, and they have mowed paths for a trail that my Dogs and I Love. This is more of a leisure park, for a nice stroll. It is wheelchair friendly if you just want to sit by the lake and see the sunset, but the trails are mowed grass and not paved, so not wheelchair friendly on the paths. However, it has a huge paved parking lot that is right on the lake. It's a Beautiful 🥰 Place to read a good book or just appreciate the Beauty and Awesome Power of Lake Erie. This Park also has many trash cans in the Parking Lot so No Littering is easy to accomplish to keep this park Clean. They do Not have restrooms in this park.

Very peaceful and small beach/park area. There were many seashells at the beach and was not crowded. My family and I love to take a stroll here! :)

There’s also a playground right next to it for people to play on and a good amount of parking around.

The new playground it great!
They have a spot for mobile babies (6 months) and up to 23 months I believe. Then a spot for toddlers. Then a spot for kindergarten and up. They also have a zip line, but it was broken when we were there.
As a family we used to go here to stargaze and catch fireflies, I’m so glad they put a playground up. It’s so much fun for kids and parents. Even saw some teens playing on it (making it an obstacle course)

Beautiful hidden gem! I had lunch with friends there a couple of times. Benches and picnic tables aren't crowded. Big playground for kids to play on. And to be on the lake, too! Very nice beach to walk on.

Beautiful during the day as well as sunset. Nice break wall and beach line. There are various opportunities for activities. Playground, ball field and walking. It has also become an interesting venue for the Vermilion Beach Market features local and visiting vendors.

Quiet park with a long beach. Picnic shelters and grills are available too. Beach usually has lots of skipping rocks and stays reasonably clean due to waves of storms.

Very nice park for the kids and great beachfront to take in our beautiful Lake Erie!

Beautiful beach, huge playground. We enjoyed exploring and walking the beach.

Beautiful park along the lake, arrived just in time for the sunset view. Park offered disc golf and did have portapotties on site.

Very nice park that includes a pavilion with a great little beach on lake Erie! The beach is full of fine sand and the water is shallow for a few hundred yards. The sand is a little sticky compared to typical sand at an ocean, but nothing too serious. Be sure to check the quality of the water before you go! We went skim boarding and it was a good place to learn on flat, shallow water before hitting the waves at the ocean.

Beautiful, huge new playground. Benches, pavilion, parking towards the water. Sometimes people park and eat their lunches here.

The new waking path was great. Works out great with the wwt wether we have been having with the dogs.

Beautiful Park well maintained equipped with an exercise walk path. Soccer field, baseball field and located on the lakefront.

Lovely afternoon except for the muffleheads. Love the new paths they are putting in. Will look good next year. Flowers looked good also!
