La Plaza Park

Awesome little park to throw events on the West Side. Close to lots of incredible restaurants!!

This was a great experience and a lucky find on my way to somewhere else. I couldn't resist turning around to take in the event.

On the day of Thanksgiving 2020 (11•26•2020), family and friends gathered to bring home-cooked meals together in order to “Feed the IE,” as promised by XtraKredit company founder Jarrett Ellis. All it took was a few tables, a little over 20 human beings, and the Positive Vibes and LOVE from the place called La Plaza Park. Of course, everyone involved was staying safe with masks up and hands gloved. From the @xtrakredit IG account, it was announced that over 500+ meals were handed out, which is 500+ more meals that would’ve been handed out if no one showed up inspired by the real great man in charge of the operations. I plan to circle the fourth Thursday of November every year to not only celebrate the life of both my mother and my grandfather but to make my journey to La Plaza Park to help out with the “Feed the IE” project.

Great turnout, beautiful family event. It was time a family event like this took place at the Placita. Thank you to all sponsors and vendors for holding such a great event for our community.

Honestly this park has so so sooo much potential the streets around it are kinda bad but it reminds me so much of Nayarit,Mexico and it reminds me so much of Mexico around it if the city fixed it up to look more like Mexico it would be so beautiful there's no need more mexico it's right on front of us such a beautiful park but would look better if fixed more

I've been coming to this park for a long time, it has its up's and it's downs but the people there are very friendly and every month there is a lowrider show/car show and every Sunday the neighborhood Church comes and gives free food to the homeless and also to those in need la plaza Park is a big contribution to this neighborhood.

That is my Barrio . I love this park . Good park, lots of good things happening there. Let's keep it going good . United we shall stand !

We were there for community trash clean up. Cleaning up the park, making it a clean place to come.

Besides the homeless people and the strong smell of urine. It was okay. The cause why we were there was great!
