Highland Cafe

I used to frequent this place quite often when it first opened a couple of years ago. Back then it was an amazing place to go eat breakfast or lunch in my opinion. But I just went today after many months of not going, and it just didn't feel quite the same. The waitress to her defense was overwhelmed because she was talking care of the entire place by herself. Other than that her service was good. The food was just okay. I asked for eggs overeasy and they came half cooked half raw. They did replace them for me though. I asked for well done hash browns and they also were raw, but I didn't complain about them. The place is always clean and the motif is inviting. But I think this place has gone in the wrong direction overall. I will return in a month or two to see if things are going better.

Best Biscuit and Gravy hands down. Even if you don't finish it they taste just as good later on when you're hungry again. The service is awesome and Denver Omelette you gotta try it. Everything about this place is amazing you just have to be patient because they can get busy and well we live in a time where patients is something that people can lack. Great place and great food.

Wow, this a little hidden gem! Food was delicious! We had a Mexican dish and American dish for breakfast. It's nice to have different options. We ask to see cook to thanked him for the delicious meal. Hev seemed humbled and kind. The waitress was very nice as well. I definitely would eat there again and would highly recommend for you to try.

Home Made Chips and Salsa was awesome. My Top Sirloin Steak was perfectly cooked (Medium) extremely good for $19.00. Wife said her Beef Dip was excellent.

But the Christmas Milk Shake (little bits of Crushed candy cane in vanilla ice cream) was fantastic and I would go back for that alone.

food is good was there over the weekend definitely a place to try out there biscuits with gravy are fantastic.

Loved this little family owned place !!! Good food , great service, & nice atmosphere. We got our food in a timely manner, waitresses were kind which is always appreciated. We will definitely be coming back

Its a warm n cozy place to enjoy a quiet meal. Lovely service and good options. Was a very homely experience. I am debating between 4 and 5 stars. But will give it a 5 for their service

Highly recommend this place! We're from Philadelphia, traveled to Cali for Desert Daze Festival. I had a bacon double cheeseburger DELISH!! and the chicken mushroom melt DELISH! and the mozzarella sticks hands down so good!!! And their coffee!!!! Trust me, I'm from Philly! 😎

Took my grandson for Birthday Breakfast. My first time there, clean, friendly staff, great chef. Food was very good, will be back.

The food was delicious and the service was great! Excited to have a good restaurant in our neighborhood that is walking distance! My husband and I went for breakfast. I got the French Toast Special with eggs and bacon. It was so good. The bacon was cooked perfectly and the French Toast was nicely flavored with a touch of cinnamon. My husband got the Old Country Breakfast with eggs, sausage patties, biscuits and gravy and hash browns. He really enjoyed it. We highly recommend Highland Cafe and will definitely be back!

Came here to have breakfast today. Very delicious food, very good portions. Customer service on point too. Nice and clean place to enjoy food!

Close parking, first off, was difficult to find at the time we arrived. I think it's because there are several businesses (a nephrology clinic, a dialysis center and a pediatric clinic) that have a large number of long term customers. Otherwise, the restaurant is very clean, freshly painted and inviting. I ordered a breakfast burrito that was served hot and was tasty. The waitress was friendly and attentive. It was a good 1st visit and I'll definitely be back to try other menu items

I had chicken breast and eggs with tomato slices and biscuit and gravy. The chicken was tough. My wife had George’s Combo with French toast, bacon and scrambled eggs & all was delicious. The server had a fun personality.

Very good family friendly place. The waffles and burrito were really good definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

I had a breakfast burrito with chorizo, huge burrito, very good, also the belgium waffle was crunchy just how I like it.

Great food and service at reasonable prices the biscuits and gravy was great as was the BBQ beef sandwich truly a delightful little.locally owned Cafe that I highly recommend to anyone in the area
