Benny's Wing Shack

I have been looking for a place with good fried fish for awhile. Benny's hit the spot. Down in southern RI, we have a lot of places where the friend fish is so coated in batter that I feel like I'm eating a corn dog. Not Benny's. Light batter. Flaky fish. Just what I needed. The fries were tasty, too. Now don't plan to stay in the winter. There are maybe 4 seats inside. It isn't fancy and it isn't expensive. It's just yummy.

My man will did his thing. Double burger all the way with bacon and half dozen clam cakes

I had fish and chips and my partner had clam chowder. Everything was delicious and the portions were big without being wasteful. It wasn't super cheap but it was reasonably priced especially for the amount of food we got. The staff was extremely kind and I think they even stayed open late to make my food (I called before I saw their closing time and they didn't say anything and served me with a smile.) One very important thing to know, they are CASH ONLY.

First of all, the fish and chips were the best we have ever had. But here is a huge surprise. For the eggplant lovers and vegetarians, you have never had eggplant like this. It is usually cut thick, seedy and with tough skin. This was better than anyplace on the planet because it was cut like an 1/8 of an inch and tender. The taste was incredible. What a cute little place serving such interesting dishes like scallops and snail salad. The gentleman behind the bar was friendly and although there's not much room to sit the menu looks good and it looks like there's places to sit outside as well. On normal days they wake up & open early so that's a real convenience for people who want Seafood at 6 a.m. check it out and enjoy

I do not like seafood, and instead stopped for their 2/3$ Bacon egg and cheese deal. It was made to order (kinda slowly) with crispy bacon, a fresh egg, English muffins, and classic American. Tasted amazing and friendly service, highly recommend their be&c

Excellent whole belly clam and scallop platter! The lobster roll has plenty of lobster. And the clam cakes are great. The only thing I haven't liked is the clear RI clam chowder.

The best bacon, egg and cheese on an English muffin - delicious and served with excellent home fries made from real potatoes and onion :)
We had breakfast there every day we were in Point Judith. My kids loved the eggs Benedict.

Benny's has the best wings I ever had. They also have many sauces to choose from wet and dry. They're wings are the biggest around. It a must stop if your in the area

Clam cakes were really good, white chowder was awesome. Dozens cakes, 2 small chowder and fries $20.00. Good deal

Best clam cakes and chowder in South County! We've been there on our last two trips up from NJ, and I think it will be a must stop every time!

We loved the clamcakes. Flavorful, not greasy, and loaded with clams. Far better than Aunt Carrie's and Iggys.

Omg this place was amazing. Friendly service and the fish and chips were the best ive had. Kids got chicken fingeres and even those were good. All around this was a great place to stop and eat.

Great food and prices veteran owned and operated outdoor dining and very well may be the best clam cakes in Rhode island (not kidding) lots of clams light and not burnt , if you come here get the clam cakes ..

Great fish and chips we tried to go to Georges but it was packed tried iggys same so we stopped in at bennys and the service was quick the owner was right on top of everything making sure his customers were satisfied and had a good 40 min conversation with me and my friends before we left was a very friendly and i would highly recommend and well def be going there when im down by the beaches thanks for the great food and positive experience

Seriously delicious. Juicy yet crispy scallops, perfect chowder, lovely staff. Can’t wait to come back! YUM.

Really good breakfast sandwiches. It was like 2 for $3 which was wicked cheap. Cute and cozy little place inside too.

The boom boom sauce was one of the best sauces I have ever had. Definitely going back anytime I come to RI!

A great place to eat. Fish and chips is Excellent. They have a great selection. Something for everyone.
