Food here is great, had the tri tip brisket and ribs nice variety of sauces to choose from. This particular trip the service could have been better, still not a deal breaker ill be back.

Stopped here on our way home from San Francisco the food was so good!! I had the classic brisket sandwich, my wife had the Chicka-a-bee and we shared the best garlic fries we have ever had. If you want to eat while traveling on the 5 hold out for this place, it is worth the wait! Just under $25.00 each including tip

Great bbq highly suggested can't think of anything bad to say about this place. I like the sliced brisket and Mac and cheese

Just stopped for gas on a long road trip, and saw this place. Awesome spot. Had a whole chicken, 2 sides, wife had 2 wines, I had 2 beers (good craft beer options). Somehow, left with a bill under a hundred with tip. In California, who woulda thought! Servers seem to work in tag team, all super nice folks. Highly recommend

Good place for salad and sandwiches, the staff is pleasant, and Blue Moon is on tap. The atmosphere is open and uncrowded and the noise level is fairly low given the building. Good place for a casual meal.

Incredible staff, amazing food, and charming atmosphere makes Almond Wood a must have for locals residents, or if you are like my family, just traveling through. Their wood fire pizzas are exceptional.

This place is a reason - A GOOD REASON - for us to take highway 5 rather than 99 to get from northern California back to southern Nevada. It actually may become the only reason. We loved every bite of our lunches. Innovative food, well prepared, great service. Wish we had a place like this at home.

Great BBQ. Didn’t even need sauce which is the telltale sign that they smoke a good dish. Got the triple combo plate which was huge and gave me lots of extra to take home. Ribs, tri tip and brisket were all great.

The Mac bar was really good Mac!! The pizza was good and the valley hustle salad (no blue cheese) with lemon vinaigrette was amazing!

OMG this place was amazing. The food was so good I asked for a to-go meal. Seirra was our server and recommended an amazing three meat meal. Was not crowded an no wait. The food was served hot and had a ton of flavor. I had the brisket which is my go to meal and the place did not disappoint. Also ask for the roasted and fried artichokes, that salad was to die for. I had a food coma after that meal. Well worth the stop!!! Especially if there is traffic going north. Find this place just off the highway and plenty of parking. Outdoor seating available too.

As a California BBQ connoisseur. I would have to say this place hands down has some of the best beef ribs. And I can tell you they are hard to find far and in-between. As for the rest of the menu, it is definitely unique. Well worth the stop

the restaurant was awesome. The Waitresses had very good customer skills. we had a real good time. Big portions great prices would recommend this restaurant to everybody

Great food and service off the I5. We are never sure where to stop along the 5, luckily we stumbled upon AWA BBQ. Lunch was excellent. The OG tri tip and the Cheese Steak was right on 🎯 . The Blackberry Cider, not to sweet or dry. Reasonable prices and good servings. I will denitely stop here again

Very good place to eat. The waiter was very friendly and cordial. Food was really prepared good and they have a very good menu selection.

Fantastic Brisket/ Shrimp salad! The fruit in the salad was fresh and sweet! Added the focaccia bread with balsamic vinegar and olive oil, was amazing!

What a great place to order pizza, a snack or a meal. Their house beans are wonderful, they make their own blue corn tortillas! You can’t go wrong here! Worth a stop in Patterson off I-5 and great craft choice of craft beers!
