Humboldt Bay Visitor Parking

This is a national bird refuge and sanctuary. it's got easy access and established trails. It's a joy to observe birds seasonally since it harbors many migrating birds.

Excellent picnic spot. The concrete table benches did scratch my legs, though, so be careful! I brought my own umbrella for shade. We'll have to go there again when the hunting lodge is open for tours.

This is a excellent place for an outdoor walk along well maintained trails along the various inlets of bay water.

They take extremely great care of this facility and it shows. What a peaceful play to just enjoy the sounds of the wild.

Awesome little walk and beautiful location. Does not allow dogs which is a bummer.

I had a nice visit with the receptionist, we got to catch up after a couple of years.

Safe area, CHP visits often.

Good place to park if you want to walk around and see the Marina and the bayfront
