UPDATE: Not too long after I posted the mostly scathing review, we received our canopy and some good follow-up customer service. We were happy - the canopy was high quality, albeit a bit pricey. Unfortunately, we yet again lost it in a wind storm. Now, you might be thinking, "Why don't you take it down, if you know there's going to be gusts?" Living in Southern California, we have a majority false alarms. AND the gazebo is NOT easy to dissemble quickly (which I see as a strong point, if you're hoping to leave it out as a permanent fixture). We are now back to square one, only this time we need to replace the entire gazebo - this storm was so brutal, our house almost got impaled by the gazebo's finial! The frame was totaled in the wind. I hope this update was helpful, nonetheless. Cheers! * * * * * ORIGINAL REVIEW: We ordered a replacement gazebo canopy in March of 2020 after ours shredded in the last wind storm. It is now mid-October and we are still waiting to get the replacement. I've tried everything, and it's super frustrating. I just tried again by calling, and a very nice representative told me the same thing I'd been told over and over: "I'll check the availability and get back to you in two business days." IMPORTANT: In the past several years, we have twice had to replace the mosquito netting (walls) of the gazebo due to our wear and tear. We had NO ISSUES with those orders - in fact, it was VERY GOOD customer service. I don't know what happened, but it's either that the pandemic has just taken this business out or there's something else going on. It's like dealing with a completely different company than before. IF we get our gazebo top, I'll update this review. We're giving them this one last chance before we scrap the whole project.

I bought one of their gazebos from Home Depot. The gazebo showed up missing 4 major parts, I called them immediately and after 3 weeks of fighting I called the store manager at the home depot. She did a great job and I got an email from "sunNest" that they were processing the order for the replacement parts. More than a week later they finally told me that my order was ready to ship, but they were waiting on USPS. I had to hound them for another 10 days, then they sent me an email stating that "We would like to inform you that this request has been validated and approved by our Warranty Team. However, the replacement part is currently on back order. We will be working with our back order specialist to determine the estimated time of availability and we will provide you with an update as one becomes available. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."

We had a bad storm come through and rip off most of our Gazebo in the center. We called on Nov. 7. Sent all of the photos and updated the warranty. We have been calling and emailing continually for over a month to no avail. Still no parts. No verification of shipping. I finally got someone on the phone today and she said I would hear something back in 48 hours. That is what we have been told every single time and we never hear back from anyone. I suspect this is a stalling tactic to ensure that the warranty runs out before the process and ship the products.

I ordered the gazebo thru homedepot online. The company shipping the gazebo (sunniest services) has zero accountability. I have called 6 times over two weeks and the company has no idea where my product is. Some of the worst customer service as home depot customer service does not want to help me out finding my shipment. There reps are rude and unhelpful. One rep couldn't get my name right after a 5 min conversation about how the pronounce "matthew". After having zero help from. Sunnest services I requested a refund. I am reporting them to BBB as well. They take your money and don't care about sending your products.

I am trying to replace a canopy set item #110109201 for over a month but going back and forth with their representatives and no luck. They even generated a warranty replacement quote which already expired and I was told that it was a mistake and I would have to purchase it. I agreed but suddenly, they can't even find this item. They keep telling me they have a new system. They wouldn't give any information how to get to their top management and their customer support team not even responding back to my emails. I wonder if any of them read these comments. I guess, I have to purchase a new Gazebo from other retailers.

The very worst customer service. Like several complaints reviewed on Google and on BBB, our issue is the non-receipt of warranty parts. Original claim, July 2020, was filed correctly, all paperwork requested was furnished completely and claim filed with-in time constraints. Placed a call today to customer service, of which there is only one number to call, placed on hold for over ten minutes. The representative that did answer the call had a voice that sounded very garbled, poor transmission. She claimed she could not hear me. I was put on hold, the same rep answered after the second hold and she was able to hear me. Same rep, sounded very slurred, slow in speech, asked why I wanted to speak to another rep when I stated I could not understand her. Very frustrating experience and I can see from other complaints that I am not alone. I will be reporting this horrible experience to Lowe's so that they are aware of the poor service with the product they sell.

Update: I believe I reviewed the wrong location. My experience was with SunNest in Ohio, which I just learned is out of business after only a few months. I am not surprised. Disregard my review below:
I bought a BBQ grill gazebo. The tiles for the shelf were all damaged. The customer rep was so nice and helpful and advised what I needed to send to get the replacement tiles. Well that’s where the helpfulness ended. I kept getting emails advising to send the receipt and pictures, which I now have 3-4 times. This has been going on for over two months. They keep asking for the same information. No one will return my calls and now no one is answering my emails. This company is a scam. Don’t order anything from them.

I had the worst experience buying a replacement canopy... First the quality of the canopy is not very strong, second the color is not the same as the picture, it is actually very dark, (dark brown) instead of beige as in the picture and third when I tried to contact customer service, I had to wait almost one hour in each call to speak with outsourced foreign customer service reps who were unable to help or provide a clear solution... very disappointing, finally after three calls and several emails without an answer, I had to send the canopy back to the company paying $57 dollars of shipping from my pocket, hoping that the company will refund $75 dollars after discounting 15% of the canopy price to restock it! My advice to everybody: don’t buy anything from this company if you don’t want to lose your time and money.

Ordered a canopy on Amazon. It arrived with a damaged part. Which I completely understand happens. Amazon refers to the manufacturer for issues. I called three weeks straight leaving messages. I emailed two times. I did not receive a response. I filed a Better Business Bureau (BBB) complaint and received a phone call as some as BBB sent the complaint. They were slow to respond but kept up. UNTIL I let the BBB complaint close. Since then I have received no response. It has been a month and no replacement. I'm about to open another BBB complaint to hopefully get a replacement and refund. Again, I understand damage will happen but the lack of customer service is the reason this company will fail!

I purchased online a canopy through home depot on 8/15. It's 9/6 and my item have yet been shipped. They gave me Sunnest LLC to call for status. The receptionist told me that UPS will not accept their product and they can't drop it off at an UPS location. Something is really wrong here. DO NOT ORDER from this company.

Worst customer service I've ever encountered. Spent hours on hold. Got cut off and have had no response from left messages or emails. Recieved a replacement canopy cover that does not fit. I have wasted so much time! Never mind 270.00 can dollars!

Warnig!!! I bought a 12 x 12 Gazebo and within a few months, had tears all over, including the screens. Contacted the company for warranty parts and was never notified after submission of approval. I contacted company again weeks later and was told I was approved for warranty but parts are ‘being manufactured’ in China and could take 2-3 months or longer. The company will not replace the whole unit because they only sell ‘parts’ which is not true per their website.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had with customer service. I have sent numerous emails and left several messages. I am still waiting for a supervisor to get back to me. It’s a joke when they say they will get back to you within two business days. I sent my first email back on 5/18/2020.
