Malarky's Irish Pub

I must have passed this joint a million times when I've come to visit friends on the Newport Beach peninsula and Every time I pass this place when I'm on my motorcycle I can smell the burgers grilling and filling the ocean air with great burger aromas, this time I had to stop and I tell you it was one of the best decisions I've made all week. I ordered one of their pub burgers it's cooked to order, I had mine done medium well, and it was a great burger it comes with cheese and I added a couple of slices of bacon and boy I'm telling you it was one of the best burgers I've had lately it came with fries, (they could have been crisper) but still ok, I washed it all down with a cold Guinness. And I'm telling you I'll be back for sure, the staff is friendly and helpful, if you are in the neighborhood stop by here and grab yourself a great burger, they also have an incredible Menu full of pub food items. I can't wait to go back and try their wings and maybe one of their primerib sandwiches. 😋

Wonderful food! A little loud.

We saw the billboard advertising their Prime Rib Tuesday special so we popped in for dinner, excellent choice!
The prime rib was delicious, cooked perfectly and a good portion size, (took home a third!). Baked potato was good, onion rings were thick and crunchy, the chili was excellent and nicely presented in cast iron. My father had the fish and chips and they were delicious and also a hearty portion size.
Side salad w/ blue cheese dressing were good too. There is a full bar, great friendly fast service, did congress out of the kitchen HOT much like when dining in Ireland! The prices seem very reasonable, we'd definitely return! 💯 Social distancing, and Covid cleaning is up to snuff and this place seems populate with regulars and they've been here for decades. Nice outdoor seating available. Lots of televisions rubbed to sports. This is a step above most pubs in the states and on par with the best in Ireland! 🤩🍻Thank you to Baily for the friendly, fun high caliber service!! 🥰 Tip your servers generously if you can afford to, these really are tough times for the industry!

The best prime rib sandwich you'll ever have. Outdoor seating in the parking lot. Taco Thursday is my new favorite lunch. Salsa bar .
They have corned beef tacos. Yummy and delicious. Ok we're trying the Blu cheese burger. I'm back to the prime rib sandwich. Today I wanted the bacon cheeseburger with blue cheese dressing on the side$11.00 very delicious
And the garden salad $5. W/ blue cheese dressing ( best blue cheese dressing in the world?
And the bartenders are adorable!!! Friendly( no attitude)

We were driving around town to see what would be open on Christmas Day and landed up at Malarkys! It’s your typical Irish pub, so we got The Perfect Guinness which was truly perfect. The Pub burger was sooo tasty and well cooked. However, the fish & chips weren’t too special. Seems like they had more batter then fish which was a bit disappointing. But definitely go for the tots as your side!

This place made the Irish part of me extremely happy. Guinness, pastrami sandwich, corned beef sandwich. I even tried their Irish taco which was corned beef in a green tortilla. The kids loved their pancakes and chicken fingers. I will literally plan another Newport Beach trip JUST to be able to eat here again.

A NPB classic. Went here a lot in my 20s, still a great bar. Food here is really good. Great breakfast and brunch. Beef sandwiches are top-notch. Great drinks.

Lots of fun. Good music. Great staff (except for taking our stools. That was weird)

It was a hopping place to watch college football. A little loud but you get used to the noise quickly. The food was very good and I thought fairly reasonable.

It’s so good and affordable. Tuesday night Prime Rib night is 🔥 16 Bucks for so much food! I get an extra salad to go and have lunch for the next day even. If I miss Tuesday, Wednesday night special is Prime Rib Sandwich night for 9.00!!!! Haha I love a bargain. But really everything I’ve had I very good.

I stop in a lot for ToGo wings too when I don’t want to stop for dinner on the way home.

I don’t like ranch very much but thier ranch is so great and so is the blue cheese 👅.

The Bar; great for sports 🏈 and seems like every bar in Newport pours heavy, gets packed with 20 something’s later at night.

Delicious Prime Rib Philly!! Hot and delicious French fries. Husband had the BBQ bacon cheese burger, he wasn't disappointed! Fresh and hot! Yum!

Great service. Bailey was awesome. Prime rib Tuesday didn't disappoint. Fish and chips were great too.

Actually went to breakfast with the wife & a couple of her coworkers. Never been. I was surprised how good the breakfast was! Service was quite good also. My wife says they go there often because it's so close to work. I had the chili omelet and it was great! Well done, Malarky's!

Came for their Tuesday Prime Rib special, and was I glad I did! The prime rib was cooked perfectly to order and the flavor penetrated throughout the meat and not just on the outer rim. It a hefty portion on its' own and still came with two sides. Amazing value, a wide selection of beers on tap and a menu to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters.

Always a great time here. Come for the breakfast, stay for the drinks and end the night with their atmosphere

Delicious food, friendly service, and a great atmosphere. Came for brunch with the family. Only pitfall was no baby diaper changing station in the bathroom but it is a bar so I understand.

Went to Malarkey's for a radio promo with KOCI 101.5 FM radio. Great breakfast and service. Will go again .

Absolutely delicious. I had the patty melt and my hubby had the club. Thick slices of bacon. I highly recommend this place. Great Long Islands❤
